Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd was full of praise for Keiren Westwood whose penalty save helped the Sky Blues to a 2-1 FA Cup Third Round victory over Crystal Palace at the Ricoh Arena this afternoon.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player after the match, Boothroyd said: "Again Keiren Westwood was outstanding. As well as saving the penalty, he had good command of his area throughout.
"He had nothing to do for long periods of the game. But that is what you expect from a goalkeeper, keeping the concentration levels right until the end of the game, something which seperates the great from the good and he most certainly proved himself to be a very, very good player once again.
"O'Halloran & Baker were also outstanding today, from Stephen in particular, you can see the different dimension he gives us.
"Also young Conor Thomas came on and showed that he's a terrific young player and he showed bravery in wanting the ball and being able to pick a pass. Something he's equally terrific at and showed.
"The main thing for us is consistency and making sure that everyone is bang on it at the same time and that we get everyone back and fit as we go into the final part of the season."
