I didn’t think It was possible to hate Steve Evans any more but this interview just confirmed it

Tim Fisher and Evans being good friends.

And referring to Robins as ‘Robbo’ is priceless. I’m sure Squeaky will have something to say about that

I want him to 2 foot / punch / headbutt / flying elbow etc Evans on the sideline. If he does then even if we lose every game 10-0 he can do no wrong and should have a 10 year contract.

I think he is one of those people that you either love or hate, there is no in between with Evans, despite his comments last season. I like him , i think he's a good manager, and sticks up for his team. Spoke well about Cov, so that also helps ;)

Would probably be like a manager version of Robbie Savage and time wasting. If you are winning games and he is ripping the opposition it is great. If you are losing / against them it isn't.

During his rant about MR and the ref in February after the 1-1 draw he was very complimentary of the traveling fans and the players too.

He is the one tho most like to hate. He’s a character tho, and very few left in the game unfortunately.

Sorry this is Steve’s...I didn’t acknowledge

You are right...love him or loath him the game needs characters like him. City fans probably can’t wait to ‘boo’ him but he will lap that up.

Yes he will thrive on it, get him motivated and he translates that into his team.

Even the telegraph have tried to ramp it up with the squeaky Robins incident being referred to.

Even that was something and nothing at the time, he stood up for his player and he wasn’t happy with the officials and rightly so if you step back and look at it.

The officials gave them nothing that day... thankfully. That’s the point our luck started to shine through and was gonna be our year.

I dunno Stevo, the ref sent Willis off after 14 mins for a very enthusiastic dive by classic fall down merchant Rose

Already posted about this, but Marcus Maddison is one player that I can't stand (and am most worried about, as he has a very good left peg) Blood pressure increasing as I type this!

This was the funny thing MR said about this incident he briefed his side to say about Danny Rose, plus we’d seen first hand him torment Jordan Willis at the Ricoh. He sure looks for the contact to go down it’s part of his game, He lured Jordan Willis in and gave the ref no choice but to send him off.
We also got very lucky with the Penalty too as JCH went down all to easy too so from our point of view things levelled up over the 90. I had a clear view of both those incidents that day

What incensed Evans was I think Ricky Miller wasn’t awarded the penalty towards the end in a very similar incident, and not getting decisions in there favour, oh and MR losing his rag with Rose giving him a few words in frustration to Willis seeing red early doors.

Players like rose, if they are going to make a meal of a little touch you may as well just do a proper job.
