Friendly trip to germany FIXTURES: Coventry City to face SV Darmstadt 98 in pre-season
Anyone else wondering if this friendly is part of a transfer deal?Friendly trip to germany FIXTURES: Coventry City to face SV Darmstadt 98 in pre-season
along the pitch, are they insane, why don't they have it in a cornerLooks a nice ground, safe standing along the pitch looks good.
I watched them play Dortmund for Reus' last game and they got dicked 4-0. Only player that looked half decent was Marvin Mehlem who played in the 10.Anyone else wondering if this friendly is part of a transfer deal?
6 pointerMust win game
They did for most of the season they only won 3 gamesI watched them play Dortmund for Reus' last game and they got dicked 4-0. Only player that looked half decent was Marvin Mehlem who played in the 10.
Yes absolutely. Apparently the only way they would do a deal with us was if we flew to Germany to play them in a friendly game.Anyone else wondering if this friendly is part of a transfer deal?
Do we think there will still be a pre season in Spain/Portugal or similar?
Interesting fact - Fraser Hornby is at Darmstadt. His previous club was Oostende - Sakamoto’s - remember the comment that Cov went to scout another player & Sakamoto drew their attentionAnyone else wondering if this friendly is part of a transfer deal?

Yes, went a bit loco I heard.Didn't he go off the rails m8?
It’s over 6 hours mate and that’s with no traffic or stops. You’ve also got a 3 hour drive (if coming from Cov) and a 40 min tunnel crossing before Calais.About a 4 hour drive from Calais......how many loyalty points would I get for this?
Thats more realistic. I was thinking 10 hours door to door. It’s over 6 hours mate and that’s with no traffic or stops. You’ve also got a 3 hour drive (if coming from Cov) and a 40 min tunnel crossing before Calais.
It’s actually a great road trip if a few of you to share the driving. We did it in 2006 for the World Cup.Thats more realistic. I was thinking 10 hours door to door.
I was there a couple of weeks ago as a friend of a friend lives there (Cov lad).Think I might go. Frankfurt is a lovely city and would make a great long weekend
Yes I agree. I lived in Germany for a long time during my Army years and used to love driving on the Autobahns at 120+ mph. I'm going over for Euros and looking forward to it.It’s actually a great road trip if a few of you to share the driving. We did it in 2006 for the World Cup.
