Some ok players on that list but as westofrayne says, many would be out of our price range. Those that I would say are potentially realistic:

* Dean Hammond, (Leicester) has done it at this level before
* Charles N'Zogbia (Villa) suspect wages could be a block
* Leon Osman (Everton) wasn't there talk of him coming here previously?
* Ryan McLaughlin (Liverpool) to have a bit of N.Irish in the team! Joking aside, some of these youngsters from the top clubs could be good acquisitions at this level
* Kelvin Davis (Southampton) decent bloke and a good experienced keeper

Feeling dizzy now, my club plays league 1 and your asking me to go through a list of hundreds of players who could be (a) shite, (b) retireing (c) last pay day as relegated from the prem but check them out in league 1. (d) ready for a loan 2 divisions down, so the one thing our manager is looking for.

How many of these players relaesed due to age, injuries etc. More needed than just a list of squad players released. (You won't pay me 100,000 a week but Crydtal Palace will so i'm on the list as not renewing my contract).

Silly as it sounds, Palace, West Ham etc are offering wages above 100,000 this year per week. Tv deal has made evey Premier League club stupid rich.

1 years wages for a GOOD premier league player this year could pay off all our debts, never mind the clubs tv money.

If James Maddison has a good season and goes up to the prem he could come back in 5 years and buy the club for millions as a toy.

He won't but he could at todays wages.

Everyday all i read now is this player for 200K per week that player for 300K per week and if we wan't Ronaldo/Messi 500K minimum per week.

If any of our old quality players want us, give it 10 years and thay will be able to buy us for a years wages.

These players who are being released won't be on 6 figure weekly sums though pipkin. You're right, some will be released to injuries and age.

But others will be released due to not being part of their teams plans. Such as those youngsters from the youth teams. Whilst they might not be suitable for PL clubs, there's nothing to say they wouldn't be suitable for L1 and they wouldn't cost a lot in wages either.

Problem is that even 15-16 year olds are being payed more than we pay our best players (and with this new tv deal the wages will only go higher). If we were in the Championship i would say let's have a good look at these players but in league 1 with our budget we can't afford the gamble. Most would be young and never made it (but great in league 1 till they got kicked) and the others if good enough would not want CCFC wages.

More worryingly, What will Richard Wright do now? £350k a year for 4 years and never played once. He's got a shock coming I tell ya!

Depends whether he has been sensible and planned for the bump. It like saying to someone who won the lottery jackpot...yeah but what are you going to do in four years time?
