I know but you said they stayed up having barely spent anything, which I don't think ~£70m is.We get £150m for being promoted. Not including parachute payments or sponsors.
Yes, there is no way they will lose at home to Bournemouth last day.Everton scrape through again
Tbh I didn’t realise that was the season they went up, I knew they spent big but I thought it was after the first season, most the players the purchased flopped aswell like that rhian brewster mcbernie ectI know but you said they stayed up having barely spent anything, which I don't think ~£70m is.
Even if we speculate a bit knowing we've got £150m coming in at the end of the season I don't think we'll be able (or want) to spend anything near that. Which as I said, shows what we're up against.
It’s boringI know it's not surprising, but for a team that's just been confirmed as champions and are playing at home before the trophy lift this atmosphere is wank. Even without the jeopardy the place should be bouncing.
They've won it so many times it's probably got boring for them. Still at least the Prem isn't like all those other non competitive leaguesI know it's not surprising, but for a team that's just been confirmed as champions and are playing at home before the trophy lift this atmosphere is wank. Get in, fantastic for city and loved the scenes at the end. Happy for them
Need to use better bait than that young Boosh
I really don’t see how the competition has been “destroyed”….Seems to be as enjoyable as ever, and certainly more popular.Destroying the competition is awful
Lack of competitionI really don’t see how the competition has been “destroyed”….Seems to be as enjoyable as ever, and certainly more popular.
I disagree - there’s been plenty of competition to Man City. The fact that a team of their quality is routinely being pushed to the last handful of games/days of the season for the title is a sign of the PL’s strength, not its weakness.Lack of competition

Yeah, Man City hardly walked away with it this season. Arsenal just ran out of steam.I disagree - there’s been plenty of competition to Man City. Spurs and Chelsea are usually much stronger, but have been basket cases this year and you would have to think that Newcastle may well be up their challenging next season.
Just saying it's competitive.Yes two oil baron clubs slugging it out, what a spectacle. The head choppers against the head bangers

Fairytale stuff.Yes two oil baron clubs slugging it out, what a spectacle. The head choppers against the head bangers
For the league cup final radio 5 covered it like it was Man Utd vs the plucky underdogs from Newcastle. I was so happy when Man Utd won & have no liking for any teams bankrolled by dodgy middle East States or wealthy businessmen. FIFA/UEFA/PL really need to enforce proper ffp rules to make the PL & CL more competitiveFairytale stuff.

The problem is, FFP rules are currently set up to maintain the status quo, and to discourage competition.FIFA/UEFA/PL really need to enforce proper ffp rules to make the PL & CL more competitive
Of course I will back us. I am talking about businessman worth many billions like Abramovic who see a PL club as a plaything. So will you back us next year?
