Undoubtedly, can't believe it's ever been in question, he simply can't play this style of football.
There's a few like that (De Gea an obvious example); high profile, decent players in their own way & will possibly put up decent numbers because they're playing the way they want to/are able to but in the long term it's to the detriment of the team.
This is the problem for teams like United, Everton etc. they have no identity/model to recruit & build around so you end up with square pegs in round holes & the downfall is inevitable.
