Quite right. What is sisu's plan. This might put the cat among the pigeons especially if it is a 3 year deal!!

About time Oggy left anyway in my opinon.

Why? Apart from the fact he is mr coventry city, we hardly have a poor record in the keeper area and I understand respected by murphy as he ws by westwood. I also imagine a
ace that elvis would recognise from his previous stint at the club could help him settle in.

Torch u talk rubbish get rid of oggy ? Why would we get rid of a coach that we know has improved the game of at least 5 of the goalkeepers we have had! And was carsley not a player coach at Everton?

I take it you heard of Steve Taylor? The assistant Robins bought in?

Mixes feelings from their fans but it appeas he plays one up front and they have a leaky defence.
Sounds very familiar

They don't seem very happy with our forum either and make reference to Henkel bombers. WANKERS

I'm sorry but some people need to just put their disappointment behind them and get on with supporting the team and the new3 manager. There was never gonna be one manager that was every fan's choice, not a realistic one anyway. We are in the third tier of English football. This is our market and I am happy that they have decided to look for a young, potential up-and-coming manager as apposed to a so called tried and tested manager. Coleman, Dowie and Boothroyd all came to the club with a reputation of being successful around our level and above and all failed to some degree after being given some money to spend.

They have allegedly spoken to around 50 candidates and if they have managed to go through a sifting process and come doen to this guy then they have seen something they like and I would imagine they will eb looking along the same selection process lines as they did with Robins. If they are willing to pay money to get him and his coach when all this talk of administartion and frozen bank accounts is being thrown about, there must be something behind him.

Give him the kind of support we have shown Robins and the team can only benefit. Will he be a success? No one knows! Every appointment is a gamble so lets just see what he can do.

reading falkirk forums and like what I'm hearing. pressley likes to keep ball on floor with high possession..has his reserves and youth teams play same style as first team...bring players through from academy...and reached 2 semi finals with falkirk...looking forward to seeing what he does here. excited

Not too sure of this appointment personally, we know that Scottish Football Leagues aren't to the standard of English Football and I think most fans were calling for Eric Black and it would have been ideal to get someone a bit more proven. We shouldn't forget that though that Pressley has played for the club in the past, he is young, hungry and hasn't worked on a great budget while at Falkirk. I will give Pressley my 100% support I just hope the new man should Pressley be appointed doesn't change too much and can give us one last push until the end of the season. PUSB

I ignore the cup things myself.

Seen many a team do well in the cup, but fail consistently in the league.

Cup is usually only 6 games and with the right draw and a bit of luck you can go quite far. Seen many a team have a good cup run and do nothing in the leagues.

I still like the idea of him bringing the youth through though, cos that is what we need with so little money.

People need to forget black, he is totally unproven.

If thorn had left after his first 10 games the same thing would be happening with him. Even that modest record would be blown out of all proportion

Black is history move forward.

look how happy he looks when his team scores though!!... prancing round everywhere. id be in favour of a manager who wore his heart on his sleeve in such a manner :p
