Any one know the coach arrangements for the PNE match what time they set-off etc. ?
I didn’t think we’d ever beaten them in the league? I just write Preston away off every seasonI hate how Preston always seem to turn us over. Hope we can get rid of this annoying league bogey. Telegraph say 19 games without a win in the league.

We beat them at home under Dowie I think when Doyle smashed one in, and I vividly remember hammering them during the (all too brief) Eric Black period so would be 2005, I may be wrong but I think we went 4 up in about half an hour and they couldn’t get near us, with Bjarni Gudjonssen (sp?) pulling the strings.
Aside from that I don’t recall too many games v them that haven’t ended depressingly… the one where a fan ran on and attacked Hedman after we’d conceded a fourth was particularly bleak
2004, Gudjonsson had a penalty saved when on a hat-trick despite McSheffrey wanting the kick. Best league moment at Deepdale has to be Moussa’s equaliser.

Ben Turner scored a cracking header at deepdale quite a few years ago, shame it was in his own net, but a great header none the less
