Someone on here, apologies I forget who you were.
Posted in a manner suggesting they have a source.
They suggested that one of SP's ways of motivating the squad was a combo of get promoted and we have to return to the Ricoh.

Be in contention for Promotion in January nobody will be sold.

If we get promoted will we stay at Sixfields or do you think SP is right? ( if the source is correct)

"we have moved on"

"we are looking to build a new stadium within the coventry area within the next 3 years"

"we need the F&B income"

I don't think anyone has claimed to have a source or anything from what I remember

I think people were just expressing their own thoughts that a promotion would put more pressure on ACL and SISU to agree a deal to bring us back to the Ricoh

The owners have no choice but to move us back (remember not my words). But also by the sounds of it, if we don't go up this season players will be sold. I asked If that means they won't be in January, I was told that aslong as we have a chance of going up they won't sell unless a stupid offer comes in. They won't accept league 1 value as they know the players are worth more than that.

Is this the post your on about?

I thought we knew that Fisher is economical with the truth? If so, why are we quoting him as gospel?

Pressley may be saying it, but if he is, he is wrong. We are at Sixfields so that SISU can blackmail the city into selling the Ricoh and land for cheap. SISU don't care a jot for whether we are promoted or not - all they want is a profit, and getting the Ricoh for cheap will do nicely.

You'd have to say that promotion would bring additional revenue & an increased possibility of a sale. So I think they do 'care' about it.

So why are we still in Northampton now they know that most of us won't go and CCC have offered another olive branch which was replied to in the way of more litigation?

There would be more chance of getting the freehold if they were to go back and rent on much cheaper terms than before. Proper talks would be able to happen and progress could be made. More income would be coming in as we all know a lot more of us would go. But all she wants is the ground for next to nothing. And it looks like this won't happen.

If you do and if the source is correct. Then they feel these are championship players.

So if we go up I wonder how this squad will cope in the championship plus maybe a couple of more freebies?

I think they would be lower midtable in the championship.

Do you automatically get 5 million extra for just been in the championship.

I stand corrected We would get £2.3m from the PL as solidarity payments (£325k in league one), and about £2.5m from the football league pool..

So potential 5 million to go up.

Then have very little expenditure once you are up there.

If you are correct Stu. We survive with this squad in the championship. Then SISU get an 5 million in without much outlay.

I think SP is wrong I think that with promotion they would run another year at Sixfields. As the extra revenue will cover the losses.

However I think this squad would get relegated.

That then would be crunch time.

The £5m would be spend to fund losses and pay off debts and interest of the money used to fund the losses.
