Remember when Jordan Turnbull wanted to leave because he didn’t want to play in League Two

Yeah we signed him, Nathan Clarke and Callum Reilly under Slade… turfed out our only attacking threat in Sordell that season

I had to look at who the manager was for that game as it's arguably one of the worst teams we've put out ever. And it was MR!

To be fair, he was only a month into this 2nd stint and was playing with what Pressley, Mowbray and Slade had left him.

It really does highlight how far we've come on. That team is actually incredibly bad. On the bench that day were Rawson, Folivi, Kelly-Evans, Charles-Cook and Beavon.

Pretty sure this was the Wednesday after we’d won the checkatrade

Lamerias was a good player and I'm not surprised he's gone on to do pretty well. That brief period when he played with Maddison, Kent and Armstrong was an absolute joy to watch.

Only 26. Crazy.

Imagine being a few years down the line and supporting a club fourth in the champ with Godden, Walker, Waghorn and Gyokeres.

We are in the good timeline.

4 and a half years ago I would have only heard of Waghorn…
