What have I backed? There has been lots added to the debate by all sides?
The same could be said when people want to talk about cov matches and people try to take it off topic then? It works both ways?
Sorry, implicit backing. ccfc4life and Grendel's first posts in this thread are both nothing but blatant attempts to take a reasonable thread off track. You've got to ask why these two (and Torchy) spend so much time trying to derail conversations they apparently want nothing to do with.
I don't see a similar concerted effort to stop people talking about attending Sixfields. What exactly is their motivation for (in this thread) attempting to disrupt CCFC fans from talking about protesting and (in another thread) doing Labovitch's character assassination for him and implying Steve and I have something to hide or "connections".
Frankly, it stinks to me. If you do that shit you're either a complete c**t or frankly not a Cov fan.
Can either of them explain why they're doing it? Can you?

Why is it ok for people to slate sixfield people but not the other way? Neither has been moderated.
Couldn't agree more, which is why I continue to support my team - and not SISU - at Sixfields.
Because they can anyone else would get the thread closed.
See they have succeeded we are off track again.
You haven't answered the question directly have you ...........

...and your 1000's of anti-ACL posts, none against Sisu on here.. have nothing to do with you going to Sixfields???
You really have a problem with being economical with the truth.....
Would be interesting if we posted up who did have duplicate accounts....
yep come on, name and shame
100% correct Shmmeee. You, Nick, are forever bemoaning the fact that threads are derailed or turned into a ACL/SISU bitchfest. And here's and your predictable cohorts doing exactly that! Regardless of who you think is responsible, this will ably demonstrate that we want to watch teams representing Coventry City, play in the city of Coventry. If the local and hopefully national press/media deem the fact that the ladies team draws more than the Gents because of this, it's an excellent days work.
Spion and SBK for me.

No, you were the first poster to suggest it could be seen as siding with one of the organisations at play. We just wanna watch Cov in Cov.Most of the debate was on topic about the proposed protest but people didn't like it so go off on one and then somebody wades in calling people cunts for questioning things?

Yes, and it could. So what's the problem with that being said? Why the outrage? I was also constructive.
Is it only negatives about SISU allowed on here?
I think the idea of going to see ccfc ladies isn't a bad one weather its at the Ricoh the oval or anywhere. They deserve a decent support and if they made it to the final then more would go.
But all the people that do blame acl/CCC would probably be among the first to step back into the Ricoh if ccfc ever played there agian. I can't ever see that happening and blame sisu for this shit mess.
If any protests are going to take place in the future though, they need to be at six fields inside or out. Incidentley has anybody heard anymore about the mk dons thing?
Just to put some perspective on this whole thread and stress the Trusts official policy on this matter before it spirals out of control. The Trust board were approached by CCFC Ladies and asked if we would promote their important cup tie to our members. This we have agreed to do - ie If you are not going to Sixfields to support the mens team why not go and support the Ladies in their important match. It is good that the match is at the Ricoh as hopefully they will get a decent crowd and generate some much needed revenue. We are not saying don't go to Northampton, we are not criticising those who do go just suggesting an activity to those who are not going and hopefully helping out our friends at CCFC Ladies.
The idea for a protest is one that has come from individuals not the Trust per se, some will be Trust members some may not be and it appears to be an extension of KCIC's very successful Why? protest. This now seems to be being driven not by KCIC but by an advertising agency doing those very nice arty pics of the banners etc. The Trust is not in any way shape or form promoting any protest and neither is CCFC Ladies. If individuals wish to take leaflets, print leaflets, protest etc that is up to them - all we are saying is if you're not going to Sixfields why not support the Ladies team in an important cup game.
Hope that clears up the matter and the Trusts official position on the matter,

I am not too sure, as some people see ACL / CCC also to blame surely it could be seen as backing them? It also alienates trust members who go to Sixfields and seems to be moving away from the "representing all fans" that it was? Not a dig or having a go.
If it was at Bedworth Oval then maybe.
I still think if there was a local non league game on a different day that thousands of city fans turned up to, it would get more press.
I don't see what it could achieve apart from distancing it's self from the club and getting closer to ACL again?
The problem is Zam and I mentioned this the first time CCLFC played at the Ricoh, has there ever been any public backing from the Trust or elsewhere for people to support CCLFC at the Oval? No. Yet the moment they play at the Ricoh the Trust is up in arms trying to get people to go and see them because it's at the Ricoh this whole thread, the whole idea has nothing to do with CCLFC IMO, it's all to do with the Ricoh and making a scene, ashbyjan is online now so I am happy for him to correct me if I am wrong and all all the other points I have made on this thread.
Jan, I think that is entirely in accordance with what I've said throughout this thread.
This is the same day that CCFC play Port Vale at Sixfields. There was an overall consensus from those attending that it would be worth trying to get a larger crowd at the Ricoh than at Sixfields that afternoon. That probably means we need around 2,000 fans attending the game in Coventry.
