Our best hope would be a player like Jason Scotland, who at 33 would perhaps be looking the security of a two-year deal with a club like ours. Sort of like the Kevin Phillips at Blackpool, but in a division lower.
Just signed a one year deal at Portman Road, but the sort of player who would fulfill my criteria
The last manager to play McSheffrey upfront (exc. one offs) was Eric Black who left 8 years ago - Every single manager since has classed him as winger/attacking midfielder. If Cody is injured Elliot will come in, AT is also after another striker and still looking at Polo. Would he be bothering to look for strikers if he had any intention of playing sheffers up front?

Ok. The thread is regarding proven goalscorers.
I don't think Sheff and Cody can play together but are both proven goalscorers. The others are, shall we say forwards
I remember Southampton signing David Connolly when they dropped to League One. Ok this was 3 years ago and he wasn't prolific but Saints fans will tell you he was the perfect partner for Lambert. I know that he and Cody are different players and Connollys knocking on abit but good experience which is what will help us out of this league as much as skill will.
you really do try and upset me. Lee Hughes and King.
Man who randomly attacks women he does not know in the street and a man who kills one pensioner and runs away leaving them dying in the street. He also leaves a another pensioner in a wheelchair.
This would force me to listen on the radio at home, I am afraid.
