They have sold nearly 3000 and after their great win yesterday, the talk is that they may bring up to 4000.

So another 20k+ crowd coming up. We must comfortably have the highest away average coming to the CBS.

First Saturday 3pm home game since Bristol City and the first Saturday league game since West Brom. Hopefully people will have saved their money from all the missed fixtures and will pay for Saturday.

I'm going for 20,600 (3700 QPR).

Hopefully we signal our intent by taking the game to them. Should be a cracker

This will be a real test! Anything above 20,000 will be decent with it being after Christmas etc and money tight till the end of the month for most.

Hope we get a decent crowd. They’ll need it to have a chance, QPR one of the best sides I’ve seen is play this season. Could be a massive three points if we can pull it off though.

yeah, though we bossed them for 45 minutes at their place, need to make sure we do it for 90 this time.

I'm touch and go for this one. Missed Peterborough to save up for Southampton but might have to sack this one off too. Got a season ticket so only travel costs to think about but it all adds up seeing as I'll have to pay for Southampton pre pay day. Think a few will be in a similar boat with January finances

A lot of teams haven't played us for a few years and we have a large allocation, easily accessible and in the Midlands so I'd be surprised if we didn't feature high on the away attendance lists.

Fwiw these were the last team to beat us on a Saturday 3pm kick off back on August 28th!

It's definitely a location things. For the likes of the London teams, it's literally an hour on train.
Even for Middlesbrough, we are close for them.

Having a huge potential allocation helps too. A bandwagon gets rolling quite quickly.

Some history between the fans, so I expect the silly billies to be about. Hopefully not; either way, should be a belting atmosphere.

To be fair mate, I've seen this same post the last 4 times we've played QPR and I've never seen a single hint of trouble.

Although this must by far the most QPR have ever brought to the Ricoh. Pretty sure the last time they visited only about 800 came.

Prices at 30/25/20 and concessions the average price say £20. Multiple x 23 games and avg of approx 2500 fans and we'll have £1.15m just from away fans this season. With all the times on TV and the Cup run we must have far exceeded last few seasons income.

Stemmed from Ibiza, and there was one time it kicked off at The Ricoh years ago, but to be fair I don't recall anything recent. although not sure we've played them much recently (at home, with fans)

I was at the game in Ibiza and there were a few idiots about. I might have this wrong but was it QPR who we played once at Highfield Road and a big deal was made beforehand of the fact that there would be no police on duty and instead the game would be stewards only? Cue (minor) trouble.

Trouble at Ibiza was a group of Cov were there bit of a stag do I think QPR were touring Spain for pre-season friendies and played us in Ibiza a large group of QPR turned up and the hopelessly out numbered Cov had a bit of a torrid time & and if my memory serves me correct coincidently our first game of the season was QPR at home. The inevitable revenge mission took place.

I got attacked outside the west terrace by a few QPR in the 80s. So think there has been bits and pieces over the years…also recall an away trip where Covs lads had done over an army surplus store because they turned up late wearing army hats 😳 very odd

Opening game at the Ricoh with Jorgensen impersonating Houchen?

You're wrong, no Cov on a stag do just there. Cov, QPR and Huddersfield in a mini tournament. It wasn't a torrid time but Cov were outnumbered.

I seem to remember Chelsea fans there too supporting QPR or with QPR supporting mates, yes a lot of Cov lads there but well outnumbered. Didn't the Cov QPR game get suspended for around 20 mins because of trouble as Micky Adams and Ian Hollaway tried to restore order.
