Let's say for arguments sake, we get in the play-offs .......

Are people still going to take the NOPM stance? Or will people give in at this point and go to sixfields for the semi and wembley for the final?

Personally I would literally HAVE to go to those games, NOPM or not, I don't think I could miss that opportunity!

Slight double standards if people do go in my opinion! I attend 6fields when I can so not going to be an issue for me but at the end of the day we are all success starved so I wouldn't blame anyone although a little hypocritical.

I would go to the away leg then to wembley yes. I would not let Sisu deprive me of the biggest occasion for cov in my time. So yes I would go but not to the home tie. I know we are ahead of ourselves but if we did priority should go to current season ticket holders/last seasons season ticket holders/5 away games or more

Its not going to happen. We are not going to get into the play offs at wembley the end of the season.

If we did make the play offs whats to say we lose the tie like the JPT game.

Too many people think if you get to the play offs you win all games and lift the trophy.

Doesnt work like that.

I won't go. I have made my decision. Nothing against anyone that does though. But I will never go to Northampton to watch us. It just feels so wrong.

Would go to Wembley if we made it and could get a ticket though. Not seen us there for over 26 years.

The biggest public humiliation for SISU would be if the team to get to Wembley and nobody attended.

In the same way, the best way of focussing attention on the ongoing farce at Sixfields would be in the stands were empty. For every fan who does attend, it chips away at the story that is our plight.

I wouldn't attend any game at Sixfields as long as this abomination continues. Even if it were Barcelona; I'm out

I remember the piss taking out of me when saying I fancied Yeovil to make the playoffs last season. I even put a few quid on them at massive odds on getting promoted. Where are they now?

I admire that most of you are committed to NOPM. I also agree that it is double standards. But I am only 23, I haven't enjoyed these "glory days" (excuse the pun) that people speak of. So supporting my team in the semi-final and possibly final of the play-offs would be something too special for me to miss. I dont think having the stands empty would really bring "good press" to our situation. Realistically everyone would look on us as being idiots for missing that Opportunity.

I was gutted I missed the JPT area final because my mrs was in labour - obviously my daughter was NOPM before you lot even thought about it

No, I wouldn't. Even if Timmy's ridiculous dream of 7,000 was to happen, SISU is still depriving up to an addition 13,000 supporters plus from watching THEIR team. Why take Sky Blues to stadium that only holds 7,000 - it's like ripping the Souls out of the remaining loyal supporters (of whom I am one) from watching their team. What profits a man if he steals their Souls ? Bluenoses are desperate for money,St Andrews is half the distance away and very accessible and holds 35,000 plus. Nonsensical.

that's something us older generation could do with remembering before they judge someone like yourself should you go. Sixfields never, Wembley? although i'm old enough to remember the best FA cup final ever i was too young to go. the chance to see CCFC play at Wembley would be a big pull. i think i would have to make that decision if and when it happens. i can always dream that it will happen and sh1tsu are gone before hand.

The answer is a big NO.

I cant relate to Coventry playing at Northampton just because some big business scheme can move us there.
I will never (ever) go into Sixfields Stadium unless it is in the interim during the move back to the Ricoh.

I deeply feel that while the team play there that they are not my team.
If this feeling lasts for 3-5 years I see it becoming permanent.

I don't care who owns the Ricoh but I can never (ever) like TF after hearing him at the last forum.

SISU - Get rid of TF as a sacrifice to the fans, announce a move back to the Ricoh and you are on the way to forgiveness.
ACL - Give SISU an olive branch with a peppercorn rent and a chance to prove themselves (over time) with the aim of selling them the stadium at a reasonable price.

To be fair you also kept putting increasing amounts of money on City to get into the play-offs and get promoted too last season.

I will do what I do most games and watch from the Hill.
Am not part of the nopm, but my personal view us that what is happening to our club is morally wrong.
Before anyone picks on the Hill concept try it, its great fun and you will be surprised how much of the pitch you can see.

Tried the hill but it is very frustrating only watching half the pitch in the first half and only one penalty area in the second half.
Would go again for an organised protest but other than that the radio is adequate as I like the discussions on how pathetic the crowds are.
Particularly when Linnell turns an increase of 10 fans into a steady return back each week. Another TF buddy.

I'd go to Wembley. I've already given money to Sisu through away games and watching the goals on YouTube.

I always find threads like this a little silly, like the OP has found some silver bullet that negates NOPM. It's a personal decision and the main one is not validating the move to Sixfields, everything else is details

I still wouldn't go to shitfields and anyone that does is a total hypocrite. Wembley is a different kettle of fish though, its a neutral ground for starters.

My reason for not going to Sixfields is not really about NOPM, it's about my own protest at my club being moved 35 miles away from the city, when it could (and should) still be at the Ricoh.

If we were to make the play-offs, I would watch the home leg on Sky, go to the away leg (if I can get a ticket) and go to the final. I would also go to the other away cup games this season, but not to any home cup games, even if we did draw one of the big boys.

I continue to go to every away game as I have been doing for the past 20+ years.

I would miss the fixture at Shitfields. I'm trying to keep up the NOPM thing but its almost impossible as SISU get at least some of the away day money, whether its the coach fare or the tickets, I dunno how it works and I don't care, but they must get something. But I WILL NEVER go to Shitfields, anything else, then yes, I will go, but aslong as City do not play their home games inside the Coventry boarders, I will not attend those games, but if its away or at Wembley, count me it

I will never go to a 'home' game at Sixfields be it a playoff match or cup tie against a top team. I will continue to go to away games. A playoff final I would attend as it would be at Wembley. Hopefully we will be back in Coventry sooner rather than later and I will immediately buy a season ticket again.

For arguments sake, no I wouldn't...

Firstly, have concluded that it would contradict my own NOPM stance.

Secondly, the scenario we find ourselves in has thrown up a strange paradox for me. As much as I find myself wanting Cov to win, I feel this prolongs Sisu's tenure at the club. If I was presented with the choice of the prospect of promotion with Sisu retaining control or relegation with Sisu departing I would opt for the latter in the beat of a heart.

Wembley final only for me. That would be a demonstration of how big a fan base there could be. The best form of protest would be for us to sell our allocation. A whole seasons takings in 1 match. Based on crowds of 2k
