Question for season ticket holders (1 Viewer)

Was having a chat with my Uncle last night and saying for the first time in years I'm going to commit to a season ticket next season, I've had a 12 game Flexi ticket for the last couple of years so next year I'm going the whole hog. Thing is I live in Norfolk, I don't know another Coventry fan for 100 miles around so when I normally go I take one of my non Cov supporting mates with me, or my Uncle and they love there football so always have a good day out. Now....If I get a season ticket, will that then mean I have to sit on my own for every game and if I bring a mate its pot luck how close to me he sits ? Or is there another way to guarantee the seat next to you will be free (other than of course buying two season tickets !) this very question was the only reason I didn't get a season ticket this season so I want to set the ball rolling early to make sure I have funds ready for next season,

Thanks folks, I know its a bizzare question to be asking half way through a season !

I got my ST with my son towards the end of a row leaving an odd one at the end. 9 times out of 10 it's empty & if I want it for family or friends I get in early.

You can reallocate just for the one day, in the shop, bit of a hassle but it's what I do, or there are plenty of empty seats elsewhere, unless we're playing Crewe of course...

You can for odd games change your seat if you contact the ticket office. They cancel your ticket for the game and issue a paper one for the alternate seat. Done it a couple of times.

Grendel - can you do this over the phone then? that'd be easier than queing on match day, did try on the main ticketline but no success- cheers

We get 10k gates on a 32k capacity stadium. Find two spare seats together and sit where you want.

We moved to block 16 this season from the main stand, for first two games we sat further down but moved around and eventually found some seats that suited us better with some great people around us, now if I go into the corporate section my wife can still go to our seats and enjoy the game. What I am saying is that the ticket people are flexible and you will know where you want to be when you find it. We have already verbally committed to keeping the seats fr next season.

To be fair I don't know. I did it in the ticket office. It was fairly straightforward though. They just cancelled the access for the one game on the Season Ticket and printed a match day one for the game. I don't see why it cannot be done on the phone.

Do you have any under 7's in your family or friends? If so get them a season ticket (free to U7's) next to your seat. Then you can either bring the kid or buy a seat somewhere else but use the kids seat. Simples!
