Questions for the new sisu loving members (1 Viewer)

1) We all understand the club needs revenue streams, so how does moving the club 34 miles away and reducing ticket sales by 75% achieve this?

2) How does building a new stadium that would have been too small for us in all but about 3 seasons in our entire league history improve income streams?

3) What additional income will this new ground make? Bear in mind the Ricoh will still be there and will be available 365 days a year for conferences/concerts.

4) Why have sisu never submitted a formal bid to buy the Ricoh?

5) How can withholding £12k from a local charity after ruining their equipment ever be justified?

6) How can you have faith in a man that has lied so many times?

7) Why did they not try and negotiate a lower rent before their rent boycott?

8) Why have they never accepted that legally they never had a leg to stand on with their rent strike? Does the footloose way in which they've treated your club in this regard not concern you?

9) Why are you all so horrified about Coventry City Council lending money to a private company, yet consider it perfectly acceptable for Northampton council to do the same thing?

10) If sisu have done such a grand job, why have attendances under them fallen from 19k to 11k this year and to unseen levels next year?

11) Why exactly do you think so many people and organisations have spoken out against sisu?

Agree but a Q for you - why give the time of day to a couple of people on SISU's payroll who been told to 'muddy the water' on the forums

To my shame I bit the bait!

Im just concerned that anyone looking at this forum over the past 24 hours would think we support the move.

Great post. That should shove it up the arses of the 0.01% of people who have the audacity to support that cancerous organisation!

Any proof they are from sisu? There is nothing show in the admin panel anybody has been dodgy.

I agree with Nick, they might sound like they are SISU staff but very difficult to prove.
We all have our own views ad if you disagree (as most do) then put that point forward, not just to them but to the whole forum.

Ive not suggested they are anything to do with sisu.

If they believe in what their saying then fine, I would just like some answers to my questions.

Last time I looked, people are allowed an alternative view without being paid to do so.

Listen, cant you see, SISU aren't going anywhere! its all a bluff to get ACL's investors to buy them out for a large amount of money, nothing else..... The sooner ACL realise its a bluff the sooner they get back on the front foot. Joy has been controlling the situation all the way along and to date the ACL board have miss-managed the situation.

ACL's board have wasted a large amount of money on legal and PR fees, lost most of the ACL management team who were involved putting the Ricoh on the map from the start, made The Ricoh Arena look incompetent in the eyes of the press, lost lots of business on the venue side, lost the Rugby World Cup to Villa and generally made Coventry a laughing stock. Its about time ACL's board members wake up and smell the coffee, its not just the crooks at SISU headquarters that are to blame here!!

Its about time the board level egos were got rid off on both sides of the fence and a solution found to get CCFC playing back at the Ricoh!!!!

The poor, poor management decisions have gone on for far too long...

Who is paying for all of Sisu's legal fees ?

As for the administration costs it will be Otium (the club) - funded by sisu in the form of loans.
The JR I think is called by sisu, so they will pay the fee's directly.

Look I can't prove anything but SISU business interests stand to gain from amking the fanbase look divided on the issue - even if it is just a tiny bit.

Plus it really isn't hard to do it and, though morally repugnant, it's also not illegal*

*btw a great slogan for SISU 'morally repugnant but not illegal' (Tim, call and we can discuss terms)

I would be quite confident you couldn't prove they are or are not really.

If they are I implore them to carry on.

The points they make galvanise the fans against the action SISU are taking, the arguments they have come up with are very weak. If this is actually SISU's genuine attempt to change the 'hearts and minds' of the fans then god help them.

It's very simple the fans don't trust them. They want the fans to buy into taking a massive gamble with them.

If the fans trusted them they may and I reiterate may have had a chance. However people genuinely don't believe this is necessary and secondly that they will build a stadium

Who will own the NEW Stadium?

SBS&L will own it - either directly or through Otium or ccfc Holdings.
It will NOT be a sisu owned stadium - that would defy all logics as that would create the situation they are escaping. In addition the club alone would not be saleable when sisu want out.

Of course they are SISU plants.
What genuine supporter can back up SISU?
We all know ACL have not been innocent but only one company trying to move our club out of Coventry.

Its all PR stunt to further divide supporters.

hahahaha SISU loving members.. are people really still banging out this s**te!

do you honestly think ANY coventry city fan "loves" SISU.. really ? or is this just a vieled attempt to try and ridicule those who's views dont wholly agree with your own, and gain a few forum post "likes'

even your questions are dated and out of touch!

Try "SISU Group" then. It will be owned by a member of the SISU group, not by the football club. Same difference quite frankly.

I've heard some silly conspiracy theories in my time.....

Yes, maybe the moon landings were fake, and JFK was shot by the CIA, and 9/11 was an inside job, and the world is run by jewish lizards ...BUT, SISU trying to infiltrate football forums to counter the negative comments towards them? well now that's going way too far

Great set of questions and again I would send to the league and sports ministers to say these are the questions we as fabs need answered.

of course it is just speculation, but ask yourselves 3 questions
1. how hard is it to present yourself on this forum as a 'concerned fan'?
2. is it beyond SISU to use such tactics?
3. in business terms, how much do they stand to gain from spoiling what would be otherwise a pretty united fan-front on these issues?

By the same token, any new member coming on here bad-mouthing Sisu is likely an ACL/Council stooge?

They could have just viewed as a visitor any time throughout the last year and see season ticket holders be referred to as traitors, worms and scum by 'real' fans, they wouldn't need to register a single account to disrupt any unity.

No, it's not the same difference.
When sisu sell they will only be able to sell club and stadium in one package. So why have the two separated?
By having the stadium as part of the SBS&L group the club will benefit FFP wise from all income streams - unlike the situation today.

Please explain to me how it would benefit sisu to own the stadium outside the SBS&L group as opposed to own it inside the SBS&L group.

Yep. Nothing to be gained from it as reason on both sides seems to have gone out of the window.

Oh dear, the same tired arguments followed by the usual "if your New and don't agree with the majority you must be tim fisher"
The new season can't come soon enough!
