I really rated him at the start of the season but not sure if it is because Maddison isn't there or it is a confidence thing. The last 2 games he has been pretty much non existent.

I think the move to bring him on last night was wrong with the type of game, Barnsley were just trying to play the long ball and use the height up front and from set pieces and he didn't really help. If anything it made it worse because we didn't have JOB in midfield.

I made the call he'd be our player of the season...... Think I might have been wrong.

Really, really talented lad. I'm thinking he's either overly sensitive about being dropped or his attitude on the training ground stinks.

But yes, let him earn his place, it'll get his arse in gear. Hopefully.

Very talented but doesn't fit in the current team well. When Maddison is back the playing style will be slower and he will be back.

It was the wrong substitution, we'd lost our shape and were under the cosh. Even Murphy struggled to get into the game until the last 5 minutes.

He needs to be built up as his upper body strength is lacking at the moment, i have no doubt about his skill what so ever but he needs to be more agressive in his contact play

i thought he did ok... put himself about & played a couple of nice balls.. he wasnt on for that long & hasnt had a run. trouble is we have some good players up around that end of the pitch now. ( trouble for him that is, for us its great! )

He's only 21 though and in his first full season playing. Think he will develop into a very good player but needs time. At the moment though i don't know where he can fit in and improve the midfield.

There is a good player in him somewhere but I'm just not sure what kind of player he is, or what his best position is. I certainly don't think he is a wide player. I'm not sure even he knows.

Yep. The way the game was going he was entirely the wrong choice to bring on. The game simply passed him by.

you might be wrong....but lets wait & see....

I think he has a lot to offer & he is bound to get another chance playing in a more central role, be it through injuries or loans like Kent going back in Jan.....

Its a very long season & the great link up play we witnessed earlier in the season with Maddison & Armstrong suggests to me that he could well be a key man in the 2nd half of the campaign.

I think with lameries the style of play is important. Tippy tappy football and he will shine. He has great skill and touch and superb vision in playing short passes as people create space. I'm not convinced he has the physique yet for a battling midfield performance. And any long ball game will mean he may become a spectator.
He has a big future I believe but needs to be nurtured through this season. He looked great in our first few games but recently seems to have gone off the boil. I'm sure TM will develop the lad and come spring I'm hoping he will be pivotal in our final push for promotion...fingers crossed

Ridiculous lightweight, raw & naive in his decision making, sort of player that on a hot day in August will stand out but nights like last night he didn't seem to fancy it and didn't have the fight required to battle with their players. Again not writing him off just still very raw.

As some have said he isn't a winger. He doesn't have the pace or strength to beat a man down the line. He's a lot better off just behind Armstrong playing those through balls. Great squad player to have I think

Vastly underrated, the first few games of the season where him and Armstrong were running riot were some of the best performances we've seen in recent seasons.

He has talent no doubt but a luxury player when the going is good. He was ineffectual when he come on as it was a little backs to the wall

I like him. Like I liked Stern John, Jay Bothroyd, Leon Best, Isias, Freddy Eastwood.

Therefore he will be crap.

John and Best weren't. Don't think Bothroyd was either myself, just McAllistered.

The other two however...
