Oh amazing. I've listened to a few of these episodes in his series. Diving deep into club anthems.

Have t heard this yet but will try to get it on catch up. Jimmy Hill told I think John Camkin that we needed a club song and they wrote it together ? Proud posh and cobblers etc

I’m in bed with flu and this has made me the happiest I’ve been all week.
Just played “live & die in these towns” from the Wembley semi final - Colin Murray says it’s the best football song he has ever heard!

Similar to you I'm confined to barracks currently. This has really brightened up my weekend.

No matter how many times I hear it, that rendition from Jimmy makes me emotional. It's incredible.

I agree. This is going to sound weird, but whenever I have a game, there's always about 10-30 seconds of silence before kick off.

The adrenaline is pumping and that silence is just filled with that Jimmy Hill rendition in my head. Gets me fired up for the moment that whistle is blown.

I guess my brain just associates that moment from being up the city, where it used to get played on the screen before WLADITT took over.
