. Also seemed to remember Steve Sutton getting a few as well (though somebody will probably correct me!)
Everyone? :thinking about:
I can see people drifting back to certain games and eras (like I'm doing) - always thought Shearer was going to score against us (especially at St James Park and Ewood). Also seemed to remember Steve Sutton getting a few as well (though somebody will probably correct me!)
One outstanding performance that sticks in my mind is Claton Ince's for Crewe at HR. We battered them but he just pulled off save, after save, after save. Took an Ashton pen (probably the only time the ball went anywhere near our 6 yard box) for them to beat us.
On the other hand I think the best performance by a City player I've ever seen was Chippo in the 2-1 win against the Vile.

Savo Milosovic.
Didnt 3 of his 5 goals come against us ?
And how we`ve paid! How good did we have it back then?!
Just about to post him myself.
Think we bought him on the strength of those games and he was awful.

Ryan Lowe always scores against us, including a hattrick once
And Kevin Lisbie for Orient
Yep. And Ian Rush, although we can't have been the only team he always used to score a Hat-full against.Tony Cottee
