Nouble 5 disappointing but was fouled many times
Madine 5 should have scored and won a penalty. Has he played or is he getting fitness back?
Swanson looked good
Pressley aarrghhh. We are on top for 20 mins at start of second half but instead of taking Barton finch or most likely job off for Maddison and playing him behind front 2 he takes off a right back for a right midfielder and moves the rm to rb after we go unfortunately one down.

Allsop 6 - could do nothing about the goal. Did some flapping but also claimed a few crosses looking more confident
Willis 4 - hard to give him a mark, did ok, but gave the ball away a fee times. Went off injured
Martin 6 - our best defender today. Calm when under pressure
Webster 4 - did ok, but mistake led to the goal.
Haynes 6 - worked extremely hard down the left. Did some good work defensively, going forward the final ball was poor or chose the wrong option
Fleck 3 - poor today. Final ball and decision making was poor. Constantly gave the ball away.
Finch 4 - worked hard, but needs a rest. Looked better in the second half when he pushed up. decent effort just over the bar.
Barton 5 - kept the ball ticking over. Had a decent shot. Wasn't bad but wasn't great
JOB 3 - worked hard but final ball was atrocious - third game running his delivery has been poor.
Nouble 4 - looked disinterested to me: hardly in the game. Not helped by lack of service but didn't seem to try to get involved.
Madine 5.5 - worked very hard, always showed for the ball, held it up and brought others into play at time, especially in the first half. Better on the ball than I'd imagined. Missed a decent chance and should have had a pen.

Phillips 5 - did ok. Better option as right back than Willis
Swanson 3 - didn't do a lot
1 criticism for Pressley is the lack of balls with his subs. Fleck and o'brien (and nouble) were playing poorly, taking Phillips off was the easier option. Not sure why he didn't also throw mcqoid on in the closing minutes.

Whilst I admit we were shocking today, no team could play anything on that pitch. Its a disgrace. Today should have been 0-0. Notts County were easily as bad as us... But again mainly down to the pitch. Barton is not the answer. Offers nothing. I actually thought Finch did better than him. At least you can see what type of player he is. Still dont know what Barton offers after 3 years here. Madine and Haynes were the only two who made any positive contribution today.

Would love to be watching the same game, we were beyond terrible. If Notts had their full strength team, we'd have been murdered by the 20th min.
All should get a 1 and that's only for turning up apart from possibly Haynes who at least looked like he wanted the ball, instead of hiding for 90mins.

O'Brien is a winger though, it's where he's played everywhere else before he came here.

Think the stick Finch is coming in for is a bit over the top, he was our best out of the midfield four on the day - not saying a huge amount, mind. I thought Haynes was easily our best player and Madine looked threatening in spells. Aaron Martin was also pretty solid, so a bit mystified as to his poor ratings.
If we persist with the system then we are absolutely crying out for some width. It's a shame Pugh is out at the minute as I think pushing Haynes onto the wing would be a good option.

Martin 5 - won everything in the air - but is ability with the ball is appalling, lost count how many times he miskicked it off the pitch
