As much as Matt Mills was a knob last night he was right that Reading should have come ready to steamroll. My big concern was that the players’ heads would be down but he and Viveash must have spent as much time motivating them as on 5-3-2. Their manager seemed calm but I think they needed a rocket up their arse
Reading have been disproportionately ruthless this season with around 30-odd % shot conversion. That isn’t sustainable over 46 games. On top of that, Lucas João scored his 6th goal in 9 shots night (including his 1v1). Ironically, last night they had the most shots they’ve had this season and ended up losing. It’s clear that Reading like to be strong defensively and hit teams on the counter, but

Everyone stood up today good team performance! Still like to see Sheif and Shippers get some speed into their play though. All in all brilliant onward and upwards
