Wilson 6

Rose 6
Doyle 7 Very composed, think that central position suits his skill set
Panzo 7 Very effective when he steps up like that from the back line

Eccles 6 Positionally all over the place in the second half but growing in confidence
Sheaf 7 Normal service resumed
Hamer 7 Just wonderful to watch when he has license to drive forward
Bidwell 6

Allen 7 More energy than end product but it did the job
O’Hare 7 MOTM At the heart of everything good, his close control is incredible

Gyokeres 7 Far from his best game but so long as teams continue to double team him, he’ll create space for O’Hare/Palmer

Palmer 7 Enjoyable cameo, fun player to watch when the chips are up
Walker 7 Clearly needs minutes/confidence, but was promisingly direct and physical

Fuck me, your as tight as a duck's arse!

We've just beaten a team that would of gone top otherwise. We worked unbelievably hard for each other. Eights and nines all round.

Thought it was a really good, professional performance. Such an important 3 points.

If I was being strict I could say we are still really frustrating in front of goal, but we won 1-0 so for the most part I don't really give a fuck.

No one played badly either, and it is another clean sheet. Fuck off Blackburn. Fancy being so bad away from home and losing to a team full of sick notes. Enjoy the journey back to your shit hole.

Wilson - 8 getting more confident and terrific save from Diaz free kick
Eccles -8 so composed and will be some player for us in the coming seasons
Bidwell - 8 did anything come down his side , this seasons Mr.Reliable
Panzo - 8 some telling interceptions and worked well alongside Doyle
Doyle - 9 MOM for me , huge responsibility tonight but wow how impressive was he
Rose - 8 for once didn’t make any errors
Sheaf - 9 so composed and him and Gus dominated the midfield
Hamer - 9 a very mature performance
Allen - 8 great goal and a hard working performance
O’Hare - 8 getting back to match sharpness , starting to stretch defences again
Vik -8 ran himself into the ground but needs more awareness of players running off him

Palmer -8 getting fitter and a great player coming off the bench
Walker - 8 busy cameo and won a few clever fouls

Wilson was great, I was worried when I saw his name on the team sheet.
Eccles - 4: Stop playing the poor lad there. Great assist though.
Panzo - 8
Doyle and Rose - 7
Bidwell 7.5

Sheaf - 8 Best performance in a long time. Different player to Saturday.

Hamer - 8.5 MOTM, just outstanding. Both defensively and going forward

Allen - 6.5 Good to see him score.

O'Hare - 8: Superb first half but knackered second.

Gyok - 6: Little too greedy at times. Referee gives him nothing.

Subs
All worked hard.

Eccles a 4 ? Behave yourself . He was up against one of the very best players in this league tonight and was rarely out of position or exposed . Alongside that he got forward very cleverly and assisted a great team goal

Yeah I have slated Eccles but an assist and against Diaz for most of it.

Part of a defence with a clean sheet too.

Some on here just can’t be objective , they will always rate a player based on a personal opinion or a couple of bad performances
Allen is another , he doesn’t have the ability of others but works tirelessly for the team and is starting to weigh in with important goals
But hey every season we need a scapegoat …

Only minor negative for me is we should have given Kane 20 minutes or so to help his match fitness, especially with Eccles on a yellow already. He will still be blowing out his arse when we next need him.

Ehhh my personal scoring system is pretty harsh to start with so feel free to add a point or two to each score accordingly. But overall I thought it was a really good team performance without any truly outstanding individual ones.

Horrendous? Sorry, I just didn't see that. He did make some errors, but overall I thought he did okay. Second half he hardly gave Diaz a sniff.

Fair play to him.

Wilson 7

Clean sheet. Couple of decent saves. Decent shithousery by putting the goal kicks in the wrong side and such. Would have been an 8 but distributed poorly at times.

Eccles 8

Kept the bloke who’s added to his name for some reason quiet. Decent runs. Ok then, 8 you get.

Rose 7

Can’t recall any mistakes (oh hang on that one where they had a chance because of a defensive rod-up and their guy spooned it - was that Rose ?) Clean sheet. Assured of n the whole

Doyle 8

He looked like he was controlling the back line. Oddly, that might suit him given that his fellow backs were also about 20. I guess he’s used to being a leader amongst young men if you know what I mean. Alongside Fadz he gets a dad complex. I’m waffling. Good game.

Panzo 8

Did well cut out attacks. Bombed forward. Yes. Good game. 8

Bidwell 7

Just ok. Final ball shocking sometimes but showed some maturity.

Hamer 8

They dug at him early and fair play to him for not taking the bait. Last few games he’s ran at them rather than playing the Hollywood pass.

Sheaf 7

Some really good mopping up and tidy play. Final ball selection lacking. Better.

O’Hare 7

Energetic but kept running into blind alleys. We are better with him on the pitch because he draws players all over the place. Missed him early season.

Allen 7

Got the goal else a lower mark. Runs and tracks but if crowded will most often lose the ball. Compare to Palmer (who could have played instead). Scored but spurned a couple of golden chances. Last year he had a bit more spring. Maybe carrying a knock.

Gyok 6

Rather have him in the side than Bereton-addedname but a bit off the boil. I think SkyBlueBeliever told the defence how to play him to keep him quiet.

Subs - n/a I was checking the admin status.

Rose bailed Doyle out a couple of times and was the better player of the 2.
Thought the back 3 played well but we did miss McFadz.

Honestly mate , you’re talking absolute bollocks . He was up against one of the best players in the league , that player didn’t expose him or have chance after chance on goal cause of his poor positional play or tackling and he assisted the goal
But hey give him a 4

Thought almost every player ranged between 7 and 8, but Doyle was simply outstanding. Just a kid, playing at the centre of the back three. Incredible really. My joint MOTM with the ten others (plus subs).
