Burge 7 MOTM - haven't seen the freekick back, but relieved a lot of pressure with his excellent catching crosses and wonder save at the end.
Phillips 6
Pennington 5.5
martin 6
Stokes 6
Barton 5
Fleck 5
JOB 6
Odelusi 4
Nouble 5.5
Tudguy 6

Subs
Samuel 5
Proschwiz 4
Webster 6

None of the outfield players were worth more than a 6 - yes, they all worked their bollocks off but the game was devoid of any real quality.

I think I would score Burge a 4. May seem harsh, cause the rest of his game was very good, but on being interviewed last night on CWR he sort of hinted at the wall maybe not being right again and Mowbray said something of the same.

If that is the case then unfortunately he is culpable for the goal and that in turn may well have cost us 2 points. You can't then even point at the great save later on, cause the score then was 1-1. Had we still have been winning that incident may well of not happened.

That mistake, if it was a mistake, was very costly.

I agree I thought Barton was a waste of space..totally inept not tackling passing to opposition and not winning headers.. I looked at the subs and thought ok we may as well keep the useless git on

Barton is frustrating. He has some skill, but then decides most of the time to pass the ball sideways or backwards and he very easily gets knocked off the ball.

We have been saying this all season long, our midfield is a liability and not strong enough.

The Nick Proschwitz mistake was 10x worse. 6 yards out and a striker can't even hit the target? unforgivable! Simeon Jackson rememeber him? He would have buried that! How he is getting overlooked really really frustrates me. If anyone was to blame for the free kick its Aaron Martin for making a silly tackle in the first place in a very dangerous position.

In defence of Barton he very rarely has a forward ball to play so abysmal is the movement in the team

Good catching from Burge and great stop at the end but he has to work on his distribution which I would still rate as "terrible".

I thought Fleck played well last night, he's starting to impress me more. Pissed off with the free kick as I knew they'd score. We were keeping them out and then we do something like that again.

Burge 7 Great saves but needs to work on his reactions thats 2 free kicks he's conceded in 2 games
Phillips 5.5
Pennington 5
Martin 4 Silly error to give that free kick away
Stokes 5 Seems to be getting worse
O'Brien 7 Why does he keep getting taken off when everyone knows how good he is?
Barton 6.5 Held up the play well, tried to create chances but his passing let him down
Fleck 7 The old Flecky is back. Making runs at the defence, showing the attacking side of his game for once
Odelusi 5.5 Didnt have the desired impact
Nouble 6 He was so greedy! Wasted some great opportunities and he needs to release the ball rather than digging himself into a bigger hole
Tudgay 6 He's getting there. He's so frustrating but he tries. His work rate is top notch but he just lacks the end product

Subs:
Webster 6 I dreaded him coming on but he actually did really well
Poschwitz 1 Worse than useless. How he missed that sitter from like 8 yards is beyond me. Send him back to fucking Germany. Big useless twat
Samuel 5 The kids got some skills. Maybe he should start rather than Tudgay

Pennington 6 - very solid
Stokes 5 - solid enough, added nothing atatcking though
Flek 7 - really good battling display, worked ass off.

Was I watching another game ??

I made Fleky MOM playing probably his best game for some time and worth a minimum 7.

Effort, energy and commitment without question plus his ability to dispossess the ball from the opposition and convert to attacking mode with short and long pinpoint passes was a joy to behold.

Looks like TM has unlocked the shackles and allowed him more freedom going forward.

Would be the complete player in this league if he would unload some bombs from that trusty left peg.

Well played young Flekie

Burge 6 dodgy kicking, good at crosses, dodgy wall again? Top draw save
Phillips 7 was playing well got an assist before head injury
Pennington 6 looks great 95% of time and dodgy once or twice
Martin 3 looks dodgy 95% of the the time!
Stokes 5 average sums it up
Fleck 7 motm
Barton 5 not his sort of pitch or opposition
O'brien 6
Odelusi 6 would have been lower but for pass to Phillips for goal
Nouble 7 one his better games
Tudgay 6

He only kicked it direct into touch twice last night. And no punts straight to their keeper.
He is definately improving, pitty he aint got a clus how to deffend a free kick lol.

In fairness to Martin (although a very clumsy challenge and has to take some blame) he wouldn't have had to make the tackle had Webster's header not been the weakest headed clearance I've ever seen about two seconds before. It was one of those where i said out loud 'If we concede after that its a joke' lo and behold Martin fouls, they score direct from FK.

Burge and Fleck would get highest marks from me, and Pennington did well especially considering he got absolutely no help from Samuel when he came on.

Burges 5 - As well as he did for the other 89 minutes of the match, we can't afford for a keeper to give a goal a game away
Philips 6 - Good shift, good assist - tide started to turn when he went off
Martin 6 - Did okay under the high ball, but with the ball at his feet when we lead seems to induce unnecessary panic that spreads through the team
Pennington 7 - Looked top class at centre-half, more bambi on ice when moved to right back
Stokes 4 - Improved in the second half but I think he's been found out, early doors Bradford targeted him and was beaten far too easily
Fleck 7 - I still want to see more quality from him in the final third but he was really up for the fight and won the ball numerous times from the Bradford midfield
Barton 6 - State of the pitch meant the game passed him by a bit, whilst he could've been more direct I'm not going to knock him for trying to pass it around
O'Brien 6 - Huffed and puffed, standard O'B 60 minutes
Odelusi 5 - Offered very little apart from impressive play in build up to the goal - if you're going to fanny around with stepovers at least take the ball with you
Nouble 6 - Put himself about more than Saturday, still drifts too easily beaten World and Carpet beater and should've put guilt edged chance away
Tudgay 6 - Linked the play well I thought, laid on Nouble, was instrumental for the BFG's chance but should've buried first half header, pussied out of it which is unacceptable

Substitutes offered little, 4s/5s all round.

The pitch didn't help Odelusi to be fair he was trying to dribble with it and it was bobbling all over the place.
It was causing players to take two or three extra touches more than they needed to :(
