Jones 6 - did ok, nothing he could have done bout goals, safe hands, comes off line :)
Willis 7 - solid, without any thrills
Martin 6.5 - solid
Webster 5.5 - better performance, great skill to convince ref he was fouled when slipping over
Reda 2 - needs to man up its a short career, stop skulking or f##k off
Fleck 4 - oh dear
Finch 5 - not sure what he brings to party, too young, needs more time in u21s
O'Brien 6.5 - 1st goal his fault, went missing left Sicknote with 2 men. This is not u8's football, stick to your position, BUT did play some good football, would be better in middle of park.
Odelusi 7 - Promising, good skillful, believes in himself, but ran out of steam, great goal
Nouble 5 - Another player who' will regret his attitude once his career has finished, so much ability, no real effort.
Samuel 7.5 - Another J Henderson situation, promise is there, but we wont see the best of him, good start, need his goals to pull us clear of the drop

Haynes 5 - kid looks lost, no confidence at all, could do with going out on loan for a month with no pressure to re-find himself. Will come good again.
Jackson 5 - another with so much ability, but something not right with him

SP - 1st half set up was just about right, but failed to get on top of their changes at half time, needs to see issues quicker and react to them.

OVERALL - Some good football in my1st half, one of the best halves for quite some time, 3 good goals, 2nd half, could not cope with them changing formation, took 20 minuts to get back into the game, had chances to win it.

Ref - oh dear, really was woeful, but best laugh of the day was when he blew for a foul on Webster when he slipped over.

Pitch - This pitch looks like it came from B&Q! Looks ok but not the right type of grass. other clubs have relaid pitches without any of the issues we are seeing, yes it has been cold but there is sports grass out there that will grow at these temps, the roots have not taken at all, this will not improve until the warm weather arrives. I can't help but think Wasps would be better laying a full astro pitch rather than a hybrid, it would be better all round, and yes it is allowed in L1 and L2 next season.

Jones 5 - Had nothing to do all day. At fault for the 2nd goal. Should have caught the ball
Willis 7 - Solid performance. Always got stuck in
Webster 6 - Better than usual. Shows he actually has feet and didn't consistently put it out for a throw in
Martin 6.5 - Again, didn't really notice him. I suppose that's what you want from a centre back
Reda 5 - Looked good int he 1st half. Made some great runs and helped out at the back too. Shame about ANOTHER injury
Fleck 4.5 - There were signs of the old Fleck at Yeovil, but its back to normal service
Finch 4 - Did nothing. Thomas and Barton have both been better than him this season. Get Bartin in for PNE next week
O'Brien 7.5 - Sensational int he 1st half. Brilliant runs, created the 1st goal for Samuel
Odelusi 8 - SIGN HIM UP!!!!!
Nouble 5 - Didn't put the effort in today. Sad to say but he's not what we need
Samuel 7 - Well in kid. You proved me wrong. In the right places at the right times and always looking to get involved

Subs
Haynes 4 - No confidence, no creativity, looks a completely different player recently
Jackson 2 - Bloody awful. Slow, gave the ball away every time he got it. Replacing Odelusi with Jackson was the final nail in our coffin

Jones 7 - couldn't do anything about the goals, made 2 fantastic saves in the second half
Willis 6 solid performance.
Martin 6 lost his man for the second equaliser
Webster 5.5 big let off when he slipped was, ok.
Johnson 4 - skinned by their rightback for their first. Was pretty average.
Fleck 3 - the worst player on the pitch by some distance, constantly giving the ball away and playing hospital balls, I'd be surprised if his pass completion was as high as 50%.
Finch 5 - largely anonymous, but the better of the central two.
O'brien 6 - our driving force going forward, full of energy, however at the detriment of our defensive shape without the ball. His passing was a bit hit and miss.
Odelusi 7 - quality goal, good skills, and always driving forward.
Nouble 6 - thought he had a decent game first half, looked better central, then was pretty poor in the the second.
Samuel 7.5 MOTM - full of running, strong, skillful, quick and a quality finish. Needs to learn to bend his runs as was offside far too often.

Subs

Haynes 4 - one of his worst performances.
Jackson 3 - poor. Slowest pacy player I've ever seen. Will be back playing league two/conference in the next 2 years.

A strange game, looked dangerous in the first half without ever having control of the game. Midfield weren't even in the battle. Both teams had some egos chances to win it, both keepers Made some excellent saves. Our general play was pretty poor but left the game feeling that the draw was a fair result.

Re: subs. Is swanson injured? If not why wasn't he on the bench?

Their number 24 was more like Fleck should be. He's just too slow and physically not up to it. In fact I'd say mentally he's not up to it either. Thomas should have been introduced early in the 2nd half. Barton would start ahead of Fleck, better passing range and looks forward.

the key again is the mf. that is what is costing us everyone but pressley can see it

What makes you think he can't? He has said he wants to bring in a midfielder. But as we are in the loan market we can only bring someone in if they are available and willing to come. No different to Donnelly who has scored 3 in 3 for Swansea.

Martin had a good game, won countless headers in the box.

Johnson was a waste of space.

Nouble looked off.

Fleck and Finch are hopeless.

Webster looked solid.

O'Brien was his usual busy self.

Jones looked good. Best goalie we've had since Westwood.

Two new lads looked great.

Willis was ok. So was Jackson. Haynes is poor. Easier to blame Pressley, i guess.

Agree with this, and Barton finds a team mate with his passes most of the time. Fleck is a passenger, needs dropping.

Willis was reasonably solid, although lost his man on the far post for their 2nd, but his passing is woeful at times.

Barton is a player who came in made a difference got sent off and now has 3 players ahead of him who aren't as good as him! Fleck is frustrating, clearly a footballer there but he doesn't have the brain to actually be as good as he should, prime example yesterday was a switch ball to Haynes that was intercepted and put Rochdale in on goal....

Yesterday was better, but Reda goes off and we lose abit of confidence, you can see O'brien is not a leader or captain where Reda is.....

Personally i think we need that left sided wide player to balance what we have just brought in! Id then have a serious think about CM, we don't need 2 players standing on the centre backs toes and if its any one id rather it be Barton, maybe thats where O'brien should play as well? He hasn't the discipline to be a wide player, but probably would for a CM, thoughts?

Also why put Nopuble out wide??? for 60 mins that was his best performance since Peterborough, then gets moved out wide......

This league is stupid btw, a small run of wins and you are potentially in the play offs! Look at Donny!!!

The one positive for me yesterday was the keeper, so much better than Allsop commands his area and the defence have confidence in him!

think when Pressley said it was going to take a while, maybe we didn't realise he was talking long term rather than short! his tactics can be very negative at times and thats my biggest worry about him but if it is long term he has to make sure the short term shows progress, something we saw a bit of yesterday, but it needs to be for 90 mins not 60!

Not saying he's Alex Ferguson or anything. But to be honest I really didn't get the hysteria over Haynes at the beginning of the season. He's had a couple of good games, doesn't make him the new Stuart Pearce or anything. He's just not a very good player.

Who should we blame then? Pressley is clueless

Pressley thought we were excellent. However he did have some concerns about the two new guys: "“We’ll work hard this week to get the two players who have come in absolutely in tune with what we want".

Scored too many goals and showed to much positivity for a Steven Pressley player
