Marosi - 7 mistake but what a save and balls to keep doing what he’s doing and done
Dabo - 8 never stops great cross
McCallum - 7 defensively so improved but I actually am starting to think he’s limited going forward. Not in dabo league
Rose - 7.5 some of his passing was brilliant. The ball to McCallum second half oh my!
Hyam - 8 thought he was so good in the air and won his battles all night
Mcfadzean- 7.5 so improved and now so secure
Walsh - 7 not really in the game for 65 then took it over
Kelly - 7 don’t get the comments. Won so much ball and protected our back three so well
Max - 6 looked lost didn’t know his role
Godden - 7.5 could easily have had another goal
Ohare - 7.5 didnt quite come off but what an engine and what a battler. Think he will be the X factor for us. Don’t get the nonsense of starting him on the bench. He should be on for 90 he never stops

Baka - 6 didn’t really get involved but some lovely first time passing
Giles - 6 glorious run and cross. I’d start him Sunday

Robins deserves credit for trying something different and for giving the team belief in their own abilities

I thought Kelly was better tonight than in recent weeks as well.
Still not at the level he was but they were tough opposition.

Thought Kelly was relatively poor myself, very sloppy in possession. Dabo was fantastic again. Could tell pretty early that the 2 up top didn’t work for us, the wing backs didn’t have an out ball down the line.

Have to agree with this think Kelly was our worst player today not his usual self and Dabo MOTM, the man never stops.

Kelly 6 Is starting to get caught with the ball and hitting passes astray. To me this is about 4 games on the trot where he hasn’t played to his previous high standards.
Walsh 7 first half thought he was poor making bad decisions and hitting a few bad passes. Second half ran the game.
O’Hare 7 caused them loads of problems and was constantly fouled yet he was booked for one of the softest fouls of the night by a generally shit referee.
Godden 7 scored a good goal but had a chance at the end he should have buried and a goalden chance in the furst half when he took a touch when he should have hit it first time.
Biamou 6 Poor first half but really stepped up second half was starting to cause them problems then to me was surprisingly subbed.
Baka 5 Didn’t get involved not much effort.

Mistake changing it to 2 strikers. Think admittedly Robins rralised that.

Allen energy and drive was missing in midfield. Needed that link.

Giles...wow he looked rapid. Can see him replacing Macallum at home earlier going forward.

Referee....truly the worst I seen and that's a big statement.

like us to go back to 1 up front tbh max I feel possibly is best coming off the bench the extra midfielders benefits Kelly in there I think also he’s looking tired,how many goals has Godden got now ? 13 is it ? £750k he come late and has been injured possibly hit 20 in the final 12 games.

Marosi 5 cost us the 3 points. If Burge had made that mistake he would of been crucified. A simple catch under no pressure. Made 1 save of note.

Dabo 7 solid game from him as ever.

Mcallum 6 did ok without excelling.

Rose, Mcfadz, Hyam 7 all did well. Had a lot of crosses and hoofs to deal with and did it well all night.

Kelly 7 steady game from him did his job well.

Walsh 7.5 MOM. Always wants the ball. Very tidy with the ball and wins more tackles than he should for a bloke his size.

O'Hare 6 tried hard but runs down too many dead ends with little end product tonight. Had a really good chance first half and smashed it over the bar.

Max 6 huffed and puffed but not his night was working on scraps.

Matty G. 7 Scored a lovely goal right in the corner. Gave the keeper no chance. Not a great deal of service for him.

Bakka 6 did ok. Similar to Max. No real service for the time he was on.

Giles didn't get much time but made 1 great run and cross.

Ref and Lino our side were pure shite. Lino was behind play so often it was embarrassing. Ref let them get away with murder and should of been a lot quicker with the yellow cards which might of stopped the cynical fouls. 3 penalty shouts, none were given. Worse than normal.

Wasn't impressed with Rotherham. Just a giant team who rely on a hoof to a centre forward and play from there. Rely on set pieces to try and score.

Second half was a great half for us, it’s a shame we couldn’t knick the win!

The midfield, led by Walsh, pressed well and put them under a lot of pressure. The defence limited Rotherham to scraps and Gooden took his goal really well and unlucky not to get another.

Perhaps it would’ve been better to not start the 2 strikers, and started either Shipley, Westbrook or Allen. But, we got a solid point and we keep momentum going into another tough home game against Sunderland.

Marosi 7. Forget the mistake made some unreal saves and for the fans sarcasticly cheering after the mistake need to go back home and watch sky sports news on game days

Dabo 8 class going forwards and done a great job on their winger

Mcfadz hyam rose all 7 steady just didn't fancy the ball from the back which hurt us first half

Mccallum 6. did ok looked tired

Kelly 4. Poor on the ball to slow off it gets away with it in our packed midfield gets found out when it's just the 3

Walsh 6. Come to life last 15 still worked hard though

O'Hare 9. Not scared to take the game to them even being best team in division showed his graft off the ball again looking like he's going to be a real talent

Biamou 6. Worked hard didn't really get him involved like we should of

Godden 7. Great finish could of had another love godden but wish he'd watch that offside trap EVERY team use against him

Totally agree. Even my lad said he should be subbed. He seems to make the wrong decision constantly and was shrugged off the ball easily last night.

O’Hare - 6 - I know this goes against the grain, but he frustrates me. Has flashes of brilliance, but you can tell he plays with Grealish. Falls over way to easily.

Cant believe some of the lower scores for ohare he absolutely ran his bollocks off all game, chased back and nicked the ball off them on numerous occasions, won lots of free kicks for us and for a young kid he wasnt the slightest bit intimidated by them motm for me shared with Dabo

In regards to o hare, I feel that he stays Up rather than goes down too easily.. Real battler.

Marosi - 7 - Unfortunate mistake for the goal, it happens, made some good saves throughout the game which made up for it no doubt.

Dabo - 9 - Genuinely think he is probably our best and most consistent player, said at the start of the season I thought he would come good but he impresses me more every week.

Rose / Mcfadz / Hyam - 8 - thought they all played well against a physical Rotherham side.

Mccallum - 6 - think he needs a rest now, hasn't been at his best for a good few games, not saying hes been bad, but expect better than currently, think a break to allow maybe giles a run out over a couple games will do him the world of good.

Kelly - 5 - Thought he was probably our weakest link out there tonight, very sloppy for his usual standards.

Walsh - 7 - I was very critical of Walsh for a good few games when he game in but I am starting to see the player, got glimpses of it tonight in bits, very tidy player who can make things tick.

O'Hare - 8 - Never stops running in my opinion, always looking to make something work.

Godden - 7 - Bit quiet tonight but had the chances, don't think him and Biamou worked tonight as a two but could see why robins went for it, took his goal well but should of got a winner.

Biamou - 6 - Isolated up front, didn't work with Godden as a pairing, didn't do much wrong but wasn't as involved as I feel he should of been.

I agree. I often think he should go down and take the foul but he carries on and ends up off balance losing the ball.

I didn't think Kelly was great again, but we really need to support him and hope he plays through it, as I think any other option in there instead of him weakens us.

Someone further up mentioned the ironic cheering when Marosi caught the next one - that was back to the way Burge was treated and really peed me off. Yes Burge possibly deserved some of it, Marosi certainly doesn't, but how anyone thinks it's helpful is completely beyond me.

He always works incredibly hard, but he is also incredibly frustrating with his general use of the ball. He does have flashes of brilliance though, and I really love the way he can change a game from the bench. He rarely is as effective when he starts.

Totally agree.When he first came, I thought - talented player, will tear the odd team apart, but will struggle/get kicked by some and be put off his game. Totally wrong, he works like a dog and getting kicked doesn't affect him one jot. More and more impressed with him. Want to see more of him on the pitch with Allen, and Giles may flourish with the clever footballers we have.

Agree, which is why yesterday I’d have started with Shipley and Allen behind Godden. Bring O’Hare on to exploit the space whilst still fresh. That said, think the plan was to stretch open that gap between their defence and midfield but we didn’t really manage it at all in the first half.

It's difficult I suppose... Now I'm used to allen and Ohare starting When Shipley and Westbrook came on couple games back it just felt less effective...

Obviously it's one match and one circumstance so hard to gauge

I really don't understand how Walsh gets a free pass from so many people. I thought he was terrible in the first half and arguably worse than Kelly during that time.

Second half he was much better whilst Kelly didn't really improve, but he misplaced so many passes which some people are either forgetting or blaming Kelly for.

The central midfielders were absent for the first half and I did fear we could be in for a repeat of the away leg for a while.

O'Hare for me was MOTM.

Overall I'm very happy with a point, but I think the players looked nervous and got bullied a lot in the first half.

As Robin's said, they need to believe. I thought we were better against Portsmouth, but then again Rotherham were much tougher opponents.

Let's go and smash Sunderland and play our way.

Wasnt people on here saying the same about Ryan Kent and Murphy, they are young players at a higher level club to ours coming to play for us and of course they will not always choose the right option thats down to experience

True of all young players, doesn't mean it's not frustrating to watch.

Dont think you can include Murphy tbf, what 10 goals and 10-15 assists if I remember correctly.

I do really rate O'Hare btw, I just think he offers more from the bench.

Marosi is allowed to make a mistake occasionally. What player doesn't?
If he never made a mistake, he wouldn't be playing in League 1.
If Ladapo hadn't been poaching (their top goalscorer), he might have got away with it.
Hoping Robins finds a way to get Giles more playing time.

It’s one of those things for keepers. He doesn’t make many errors. I just think about the Tranmere game where we missed shit loads. It happens!

He has made a huge difference to us this season.

Murphy was the worst player on the pitch in 20-25 games that season. On his day he was unplayable, but that day was so rare.

Out of him, Kent, Armstrong, Maddison he has progressed the least.

I would say Kent and Murphy are about the same level.

Kent was on loan at Bristol City and didn’t play much at all. They ended up getting fined £300k for it
