Murphy 6 Picked the ball out twice :(
Clarke 6 Neat and tidy, but takes too many risks
Adams 5 Good going forward, poor in defence
Edge 5 Simply cannot keep letting strikers get shots in, too soft
Wood 7 Wholehearted
Baker 8 Good game, deserved goal, captain fantastic
Jennings 6 Good goal, worked hard but awful in posession
Bailey 7 Badly missed when he went off injured
Mcsheff 5 Almost novice like, gets in decent positions and always gets it wrong
Clarke 6 Worked hard but rusty, will do well when fit

Thomas 6 Well played, needs to work out where in midfield he wants to play
Moussa 7 Rested, off the bench clearly best player in squad

Brilliant turnaround and well deserved, its nice that we had a plan B, was frustrating when we were 1nil up, we have to learn how to kill teams off, a lack of men in the box when we attack is annoying

Think you're being harsh...I think I'd give them all 7's with 8's for both Clarkes, thought Murphy was great, Bailey maybe a 6 and thought Thomas was quiet. Probably rustiness.

Murphy 6 - Nothing to do, annoyed me he didnt dive for the second and was shouting while the ball was still rolling. Not saying he could have got it but should have tried
Clarke 6 Couple of dodgy risks that could have given away a goal, some nice touches though
Adams 6 unlucky with their first goal but good going forward
Edge 6 - did his job but sometimes a bit sloppy
Wood 6 - seemed solid
Baker 8 Was box to box, captains performance
Jennings 6 Good goal, worked hard but awful in posession
Bailey 7 shame he was injured and hope its not too serious
Fleck 5 - Was he on the pitch?
Mcsheff 6 - Got in good positions but made wrong decisions, very greedy at times again
Clarke 7 - Worked hard, jumped for everything, good finish at the end


Thomas 6 Played Well, some good touches and tackles
Moussa 7 Changed the game filling the gap between midfield and clarke

i want him to do well, i'm sorry but with his experience and pedigree he simply didn't do well enough for me, i can change my marks to 10s if you like, i repeat we played decent tonight

McSheff was fucking awful.

Strolling around purposefully staying 10 yards from any Preston player so he didn't have to get involved. Far too selfish going forward.

I wonder if those who thought he did well were watching on TV where you can't see him off the ball?

Murphy - 7 - Good distribution, and couldn't do much for the goals. Got attacks started really well.
Clarke - 6 - Shows inexperience. Needs to just get rid instead of trying to dribble out.
Adams - 5 - Leaves gaps in defence, but attacks well.
Edjenguele - 6 - Seemed to be a little more shy with headers today, and didn't close down enough!
Wood - 7 - Solid. Never anything less.
Baker - 9 - Brilliant. Ran around doing tactical and technical work.
Jennings - 6 - Good goal, didn't think he did an awful lot more.
Bailey - 7 - Good passing.
Fleck - 7 - Made some brilliant passes up field, notably the one to Clarke, and his free kicks were well placed into the area.
Mcsheffrey - 6/7 - Good and bad. Good running, good awareness, but poor execution.
Clarke - 7 - Kept the team whirring, and did all he could. Much more effort tonight than at Spurs.
SUBS:
Thomas - 7 - I think he is a really good player, and just passed the ball properly. Played well at WHL, and got us back to reality with passing on the floor.
Moussa - 6 - Injected pace and skill into the game. He will be a gem for when we start advancing up the table.
Elliott - Not enough time. Was a ghost for his time on the field.

I forgot about Elliott, as soon as he came on he made that good sliding pass to Clarke and over the other side had a decent touch and pass too.

Clark was comfortably the best defender.

He was our best player by some distance.

Baker was outstanding tonight, his tracking back and commitment to the shirt was amazing! I have been critical of him in the past but tonight it showed CCFC means something to him and he was gonna push to the final whistle!

5/6s for Edge is a joke. Apart from letting Beavan get that shot in he completely dealt with them all game. And 5/6s for Sheff? Unbelievable.....Along with Baker, man of the match.

Clarke was offside for the winner, but Edge was never offside for his header, i thought the ref had a good game

Marginal and debatable, to me it looked his arm was offside, the rest of his body, chest etc. looked level to me

If his arm is offside that is not an offside offence
