Okay so Armstrong didn't score but in a game of few chances he made the keeper make the first meaningful save of the match and put one across the face of the goal which nearly left us with a tap in. Don't underestimate what the lad does when he hasn't got the ball.
Strikers a difficult position when you aren't getting service. If you go looking for the ball and dropping deeper people will slate you for not sticking to your position, if you stick to your role and don't see much of the ball people will say you are anonymous.
Personally thought he had a decent game but just lacked the final touch in his two big moments, probably should have converted his chance although keeper done well tbf and then overcooked his pass to Fleck in the second half which would have been a certain goal had he just taken a little pace of the pass. Today was a game of few chances, normally at league 1 level Armstrong would get 4 or 5 opportunities like that a match and we know he will probably convert 1 or 2 of them.
