Which was luck rather than judgement on Burge's behalf that day, he could have been culpable for 3 or 4 that day easily if his defence hadn't bailed him out and Burton being wasteful. How can it be when he was at fault for a goal and Burge wasn't?
I prefer RCC and he deserves his spot in the team but the criticism of Burge is unfair.
Fleck has been a lot better this season but still plays toi many blind round the corner passes. Definitely his fault for the second
Neither of our goal-keepers are that reliable. I've been saying it from the start of the season, we really need a reliable goal-keeper because this is going to cost us in the end. We wont get one of course so we can expect to drop a point here and there due to GK errors. So long as we can bang the goals in at the other end, we may be able to get away with it.
Thick arse !Please tell me you're not being serious!
Not only should RCC be a goalkeeper, he should also be a mindreader too. Brilliant!
You want to be careful. You could be labelled a Charles-Cook bully/hater/merchant.
RCC had a poor game today, but Burge gives the back four the jitters and RCC is a lot more assured and confident.
I wouldn't agree RCC had a poor game, made a couple of decent saves handled okay in horrible conditions just cocked up for their first goal. We didn't win today purely and simply because we showboated, that's okay when the game is buried but it wasn't and we paid the penalty
Or choose the right approach to each situation on merit
Think most of us knew it would eventually backfire on us at some point so not sure its panic, this sort of error has been coming for the last 6 weeks.Or.....keep doing what he's doing, it's been working and today there was 2 errors. But yes, let's panic and tell him to change his game.

Think its important to have good distribution, I like the way he releases quickly to set us on the counter but don't like the way he needlessly messes around with it when the ball is at his feet.
I've had a few beers, so I'm prepared to be wrong. But did we concede a goal due to RCC 'pissing about' with the ball? As far as I saw it was a quick release and a balls up by somebody else.
Both players were culpable for the second goal imo, majority Fleck and minority Cook.I've had a few beers, so I'm prepared to be wrong. But did we concede a goal due to RCC 'pissing about' with the ball? As far as I saw it was a quick release and a balls up by somebody else.
Just needs to work slightly on his situational awareness , he should never have played it to fleck m but fleck should have passed it back straight away for the big kick , so all in all a complete mix up that led to a horror goal .
Some fans are so stupid.
Go back and watch colchester r highlights I believe it was. Quick distribution to Fleck. Fleck to striker. Goal
If it's not colchester let me know and I'll dig it out
Either way point is Rcc style of football helps us more than hinders us. Don't be so dumb to only see thr mistakes

You see when you see say quick release here, what exactly do you mean? Because what I seen for the second goal wasn't a quick release, it was unnecessary overplaying it at the back. I have no problem if the opposition have committed forward men to an attack and Cook spots an opportunity for a quick counter attack with a good roll or throw and I would encourage that but what I don't like is when Cook tries to play possession football between himself and the back 4, especially when Donny were pressing us which is what happened for the second goal.
Go look at it again, the ball was rolled back to Cook by Ricketts one man was closing Cook down and another was within mere yards of Fleck, it wasn't a 'quick release' setting the team up for an attacking opportunity, it was Cook trying to keep possession by playing a risky pass into Flecks feet. Fleck then fucks it up and its in the net.
In beer we trust
covcity4life likes to think he is god's gift to football tactics and is the sort of guy you would see sitting in the pub telling everyone he could do a better job than the manager and genuinely means it when he says it.but covcity4life thinks your stupid for that view. The Colchester highlight he goes on about is nothing like the ball Cook gave to Fleck.
Now change your view immediately and go and like his post
ive seen the Colchester highlights, RCC gave Fleck a ball that he never have should of. He could clearly see Fleck was closed in by two players so why did he give him that ball in the first place.
calling fans stupid for giving there views is disgusting.
Im pleased with the point and over the fucking moon that after fifty years we are having a dream season, but I stand by my point he should have wrapped his foot round that back pass and never have given the ball to Fleck.
so stop the fuck calling people stupid who disagree with you.
Played much football yourself oh mighty one to be such an esteemed expert ?
