He was mostly injured at Oxford and his career has flattered to deceive so far. Still young enough to come through, but at this moment he looks more a League 1 player than a Championship one.

They demanded a £1m fee for Harry Wilson. Would assume something similar for Elliott.

Some crazy amounts of money being thrown around in the Championship today. Some of the loan fees are ridiculous.

Depends how you look at it. Cardiff and Blackburn were on the fringes of the play offs last season, £1m wouldn’t get you a good League 1 player on a permanent but potentially could get a player too good for the level even if it’s just for a year.

Is it that they're too good for this level or that this is currently their level and the league is actually inferior to what it should be because so many young players are hoarded in big clubs development set-ups?

One day they might be too good for this level, but right now this may well be their level.
