Obviously midfielders to replace the loanees, back up right wing back and a left wing back. I think we need a bit more power up front too but we'll have to prioritise I think. Can’t argue they do deserve a chance. What about the rest of the side, where would you strengthen?
If my aunt had bollocks she would be my uncle.
They'll be looking for someone to fire their league 1 promotion I supposeLooks like hull are in for Sadlier grant Mccann managed him a Doncaster

What will be a bit weird is that come the start of the new season our players won't have played for six months. The Championship clubs will have had a very different preparation to us and who knows how the preseasons will compare. How big an advantage do we think it is that League 1 has finished a month before the Championship? Must give us a huge head start over other teams, but then I guess players won't want to commit either until all leagues are finished.

Could go either way. We won't have played competitive football for nearly 6 months when the season starts.
The rested players is one aspect, but also you could argue we have a head start in the transfer market. We know what league we are in and are able to scout players earlier than other clubs.

Right now I'd be happy if we kept the whole squad together.
Plus the permanent signing of.
O'Hare
Hamer
Decosta
And a couple of good loans from the prem, including a striker.
He is but I wouldn’t be confident throwing him into a possible relegation scrap in the Championship. Much rather he spent at least 6 months out on loan getting game time in L1/L2.
a loan striker we could look at is Brewster jk
We should probs go for one of those players at like Liverpool or Man City on loan because they wont get in their sides
I think maybe we are past the stage of taking prem youngsters. We could get away with it in L1 and L2 but for next year, I wouldn't be too happy to be taking "punts" on untried kids.I would imagine we would have pretty good odds on first Dibs at the Chelsea academy. they are known for loaning out youngsters.
not sure there will be many left in their system that AV actually coached but his stock there is still very high and that can only work in our favour
Conor Gallagher was a "punt" and he's the only reason Charlton haven't already been relegated.I think maybe we are past the stage of taking prem youngsters. We could get away with it in L1 and L2 but for next year, I wouldn't be too happy to be taking "punts" on untried kids.
At this level Chelsea were happy to send Tammy Abraham to Villa one season ago. Also Nketiah was at Leeds earlier this season.I think maybe we are past the stage of taking prem youngsters. Yep it’s unfair to say our signings were punts, they were considered and managed and the most effective you would have dreamed ofConor Gallagher was a "punt" and he's the only reason Charlton haven't already been relegated.
The fees were huge though weren’t they!!At this level Chelsea were happy to send Tammy Abraham to Villa one season ago. Also Nketiah was at Leeds earlier this season.
He didn’t play ??Yep it’s unfair to say our signings were punts, they were considered and managed and the most effective you would have dreamed of
Walsh
Ohare
The only one that didn’t work was Giles and I would put this down as a punt

I'd love that, but I get the feeling he might be in and around their first team next year.
Just to warn you, most of the big boys charge large loan fees for their youngsters nowadays with clauses put in stating they must play. If they're crap, you either pay the penalty clause or play them anyway.a loan striker we could look at is Brewster jk

An example, we had agreed a 7 figure loan fee with Arsenal for Nketia, before he turned us down to go to Leeds.
The obafemi who started yesterday....ok so we go for a southampton like obafemi or something where we wouldnt have to pay much or none at all

He's also Brandon Masons best mate, they were together at Watford I think.Randell Williams RWB playing now for Exeter, got 14 assists this season , would be decent back up for Dabo
