Anyone heard about this?

http://www.sisuout.co.uk/red--green-campaign.html

Think it would take off? I dont mean on the scale the Man U one did, but do we think fans will buy into it?

Wonder when the first red and green scarf will be made?? Probably be by the one who appears for the big cup games (i.e. Scarves V Chelsea or the Mifsud t-shirts after the Utd game)

I've never heard of it but any form of protest can't be bad. Irony is the Man U one never worked. I think we need to have a more concerted, vocal effort. Somehow we have to get SISU out. If we don't I cannot see the club surviving.

.If you want to connect with the colours historically,it would be worth mentioning they were the colours of Singers fc,the founding team of CCFC,just tried to log in and its as problematic as all the others not accepting usernames or passwords

No way Jose. We are the Sky Blues, the colour Jimmy Hill implemented.

Besides, it's too unoriginal.

Strange that no-one has been promoting it either on here or GMK to get the campaign going and receive much-needed publicity.

You say the Man United protest never worked but they have certainly spent a lot of money in the last 12 months and haven't the Glazers reduced the debt

Im not part of the website or idea though, just posting a link i thought would be of interest. Needless to say, if it takes off I think its a pretty good idea

Won't work and we'll just look like upper muppets. Let's just up our game with the banners instead.

Who put that site together? It's pretty slick, I'd have expected something really crude.

What makes you think banners will work?

Very interesting idea, good website and easy to implement.

Very intriguing to say the least.

To be fair, that red and green Cov shirt by TOFFS is absolutely mint. I wore it at the Reading game and bumped into Benno in the casino after the game. Nice shirt and I would get the scarf as well.

I don't.

Just think it's better than this.

Why do you think this will work?

Stupid fookin idea, cant we come up with something original at least!!! This really worked well for Man Utd didnt it? The club shop starts selling green & yellow scarfs etc and those muppets start buying them, so straight into the Glazier coffers! Get real guys.

I get the historical reasoning behind red and green, but I'd have thought brown would garner more publicity as people still hold the old brown kit in the memory.

Plus people could make all kinds of hilarious scatalogical gags about SISU and I get to wear that brown kit outside of one disappointing game vs Watford, so it's win-win.

+1

Why is it whenever a protest idea is put forward some miserable knobheads come up with excuses not to do it.

Get behind it. Banners are banned and we need something visual at games to fire everyone up.

No excuses, do it.

Count me in. What's the alternative? I'd rather go down fighting then just sit back and allow the club I love be destroyed. Red and green army!! SISU OUT

Wouldn't work and would make us look like tinpot idiots trying to copy Man Utd.

Honestly who cares about 'copying' Man United? I coulden't give a shit about United.

Everything in football is copied from somebody else anyway.

What's going to happen with the petition? At the moment it's basically a renamed guestbook, so I assume there is some plan of action?

Precisely. Getting SISU out will only work if there is a viable, legal alternative.

And there isn't.

Where did you find this link initially SW88,the scarves you mentioned in relation to Chelsea match cost £2.50 to produce by jimbo from t+s,there was also a scouser knocking them out.i'm just a little sceptical as to this campaign ,as no one seems to know anything about the origonator,as Otis stated no introduction through any of the forums and they did'nt have the basic info linking the colours to Singers FC,if its a money generator then i would be far more comfortable if the money raised went into a fighting fund to produce fire proof flags etc to distribute on matchdays,or a fund held in trust through the trust to distribute to the club upon completion of a takeover .where are the trust ,we hav,nt heard anything from them for eons ,we're fast approaching the same scenario we faced prior to takeover, their fundraising efforts then were ringfenced to aid the academy.Has anybody ordered a scarf yet or recieved an email reply?

Dont put anything which resembles coventry city or CCFC on the scarves! even if not sold on the Ricoh site they'll still have you for it and will get all the unsold scarves confiscated and destroyed. Last year i was going to have old cov shirts being sold (from the red and green era) but got stopped by justin tosser so if you know who's doing it tell em to be careful
