The irony is we scored the second goal after they stole 20 yards from the throw in.Good job we won but this ref was terrible.
Free kick against McFadz when he was fouled twice in a matter of seconds.
Bought lots of dives throughout the game
Throw ins (worth a thread) It’s getting farcical. He moved back one for each side but almost every throw gained 10-15 yds. It’s time to give refs the discretion to award the throw to the other team for blatent encroachment
Often out of position including one time off the field.
Good job he didn’t have to make any big decisions
Overall rating 4
Its about time cheating players are punished...be it our players or opposition because its fucking rife now...thats not sport its see how much you can cheat and con the blind refs
“He’s not going to do anything let’s just keep pushing it”Their throws were getting more and more blatant as the game went on.
I actually thought Mason wasn’t too bad yesterday.
Not in HK.Perhaps he wasn't but how about today?
I’m in Hong Kong mate! It was yesterday for me when I posted that!Perhaps he wasn't but how about today?
To be fair, that’s the lino’s job!Shocking referee missed our 2nd goal being offside by 10 yards.
What did you think of the throw ins?Is there ever a game where a finger can’t be pointed at the officials, I thought Lee Mason showed the difference between our normal refs and a top rated one, I thought he was anonymous but then again always up with play, managed the game well kept it flowing and not finneky of course as said we won’t agree with every decision for a start we see incidents usually from a different angle to him and we tend to come to an opinion with our Sky Blue specs on. Our second goal ? not seen a replay yet but off-side is usually a linesman decision.
No its yet another way they disregard the lawIn terms of foul throws, can they throw it downwards now?
So many throws seem to be aimed downwards and I always thought it was a foul throw.
Didn’t they change that behind the line one? I’m sure I remember us scoring from a throw-in a couple seasons ago and the opposition fans going crazy because his foot was on the line. Someone then showed the rules and it turned out it was legal. No its yet another way they disregard the law
the player should be behind the line (not on it) have both feet on the ground at the point of delivery and deliver the ball from above or behind the head line (not in front of the the head)
yes you are correctDidn’t they change that behind the line one? I’m sure I remember us scoring from a throw-in a couple seasons ago and the opposition fans going crazy because his foot was on the line. Someone then showed the rules and it turned out it was legal.
I was watching the game not throw ins, pinching yards at throw ins has gone on for years. What did you think of the throw ins?
Feared the worst when I saw in the week it was Lee Mason but wasn't as bad as feared, still not great though. His interpretation of advantages was utterly baffling.

Tbf, that one where one of our lot was fouled (can't remember who) and the advantage was to find ourselves with the ball on the touchline surrounded by 3 opposition players was a well-played advantage, for Barnsley.
It's gotten so much worse though. To ridiculous lengths. Never ever been as bad as it is now.I was watching the game not throw ins, pinching yards at throw ins has gone on for years.

They were more than pinching them...I was watching the game not throw ins, pinching yards at throw ins has gone on for years.
More likely he returns on a permanent as I doubt they’ve paid the full transfer fee yet.can see McCallum coming back on loan again next year now norwich have been promoted.
Maybe he’ll stick around long enough for a testimonialcan see McCallum coming back on loan again next year now norwich have been promoted.
