Seemed to miss a lot of small niggly fouls again. I’m all for letting the game flow but when the players realize how far they can push it gets worse and worse.
Three pen shouts. Got them all right
Let Hamer off with taking a kick from the wrong place after originally making him move it (still not even close to the offence)
Red card. The right call but hard on an exhausted defender
Overall rating 6.5

Agree with comments above and other posts, thought ref did well, so 6.5 seems harsh...perhaps a 7?

Yeh, ref was ok, let the game flow. Felt sorry for their defender getting sent off, as said earlier, think he was just knackered.

Right, and makes a change hamer didn’t have to go down to get it.

It was a standard advantage call that didn’t materialise. So to pull it back is/was the right call.

I still think he got the handball wrong for a penalty though. Pretty clear that by the wording of the law he...

To me that looked like a pen. When you saw the replay from behind the goal, you could see him move his arm towards the ball. But nobody seemed to make a fuss. I don’t want VAR but it would have resulted in a pen, I think.
