Just finished watching the game (Already knew the score)

I liked this ref. He didn't blow most of the 50/50's or grey areas niggly things and generally let the game flow.
Da'Costa's yellow. Worth a yellow but often get away with the first one that early in the game
Hanley's yellow. Could have been a red but probably the right call. Ref didn't want to spoil the game.
Da'Costa could have easily had a second yellow but again ref probably thought it would have been harsh (But technically correct) and let the game flow
Biamou did well to win a corner late on the right and probably fouled the defender.
Biamou chased into the left corner late and thought he should have had a corner. I think the ref settled on a goalkick partly because it looked like Max had got away with a foul on the defender seconds earlier
Da'Costa's foul throw. Turned his body late but there were many worse throughout this and most other games.
Norwich foul throw. Correct call. Good to see those given as it happens often with no call
Missed a clear offside on a Pukki break in the second half. That one's on the lino who was directly in line with Pukki and missed it.
I think O'Hare may have been pushed when he missed the diving header but hard to confirm even after multiple replays.
Overall rating 8

I forgot the backpass from (James?) I thought it was for sure a back pass and the ref missed it. Clive said "No way was it ever a back pass"
That confirms I'm right

Rubbish.

Cantwell should have been sent off.
Two yellows.

One for taking the man out in the middle of the park and the other for his hair. In fact, he should start every game with a yellow card against him until he gets a haircut.

Yep, thought the ref was ok, he did nothing really to offend me. Not sure O’Hare needed anyone to push him, to help him miss the target!😀 Must stop being cynical, he needs to score one, and hopefully he’ll be up and running. I’d agree with an 8. One thing though, we must be a very easy side to ref. As has been mentioned, we don’t practice any of the dark arts, we don’t get in the ref’s face, we don’t really contest decisions, and the only influencing is O’Hare ‘winning’ free kicks. BUT - I’m pleased I don’t support a cynical team, I’d just like us to be a bit more streetwise.
