It was interesting watching his view of playing advantage. A few times the teams kept possession and he played on only to rethink and call it back later. Not a big criticism as it seemed even for both sides.
I thought Ostigard was pushed/pulled a lot in both areas but players didn't seem to complain.
Hamer got away with a couple of sneaky ankle taps and pushes.
There were a couple of occasions where multiple players came together and seemed to all fall over and he gave drop balls. I lost track of what happened but happy to assume those decisions were correct
The 4 minutes added seemed really low but can't pin that on the ref. I did dock half a point though because even though play was stopped when the 4 were added he didn't play a single second extra (Not that we would have taken advantage today)
Not really much for the ref to do overall.
Overall Rating 7.5 Not much to do but did all the small things well.

Thought he had a better game than any player on the pitch on either side.

Didn't really have many big calls to make.

Feel he was reluctant to book their players, there was definitely 2 players that should have been booked 1st half (their LB and LCB IIRC), plus the LCB committed two yellow card worthy fouls.

Loved stopping the flow of the game for petty fouls.

Also, seemed to have forgotten his foam spray, hence the 15 yard gap between our player and the ball on the LW in 2nd half.

6/10.

I thought the linos were decent in fairness.

Who else can you pin that on, other than the ref? It’s completely his decision and he bottled it. Kelly’s injury alone must have accounted for about 3-4 minutes, never mind all the substitutions (9 in the second half) and sundry time wasting. In League 1 that would have been 6 or 7 added minutes; referees at championship level and above seem very reluctant to add appropriate time on.

Poor again - fouls made but no free kick - didn’t balance them up either - should have had the book out during two more at least and maybe Da Costa

Added time is decided by the 4th official

To be honest, I was grateful. He put everyone out their misery of having to suffer another 2 or 3 minutes of that. We didn’t manage a shot on target in the 49 second half minutes and I saw nothing that indicated another 2 or 3 minutes would have changed that

Time for a dedicated time keeping official and a stopped clock rather than injury time.
