It was essentially the same thing at Sheff Weds. One of our players defends themselves, but punished in the same way as the aggressor. I can take things like their goal; if you want things like that removed, you have to accept VAR, and then you get nonsense like in the Cup semi. Violent offences committed right in front of the officials, though, that's unacceptable.

Speaking of the cup game, Man Utd’s goal today was pretty similar to the one we had disallowed and if anything, more offside.
