Relegation is upon us (2 Viewers)

I have been watching our recent downfall, and now feel that there is no hope, we need atleast 2 wins, and possibly 3 to guarantee safety, and that is never going to happen, we haven't won one in the last 16. This time next year we will be playing league one football, and probably fighting relegation there as well.

Something is fundamentally wrong at our club, we have steadily got worse, even though this year we have supposedly had better players then last year. And you have to stop blameing the manager, when the club sell players behind his back, it is a disgrace, and Ray Ranson has ruined this club. His statement of the club will be in better shape when he leaves then when he turned up is a downright lie, as we will end up in league one, how is that better.

Leeds, Man City, sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Derby, Nottingham Forest, Leicester, Southampton.

The Premier League and Championship are not a right. They have to be earned. Maybe a drop in to division 3 would be our making? Maybe not.

One thing that might pull the players through is vocal support from fans, the way most of you are going on we might as well be relegated all ready.

I think we will be alright, you seem to forget those below have to win games aswell!! Preston have won there last 2, Scunthorpe and us.....hardly promotion form is it!! we were cracking against Burnley and lazy at the end against Preston. We will win at least 2 at home (scunny & Millwall?) and pick up a point or 2 away Boro? maybe.

Lets stop wingeing like we are already down, we are the Houdini Club.......Remember Spurs away last game of the season!!!!!! Oh, those were the days

My fear is not relegation but the off season when there is no income stream and whether we still have a club in any league come August

We won't go down this season, and we won't go down for a good few seasons after that. However, we most certainly won't be challenging for promotion any time soon. The flit we had with promotion this season didn't last long and was only as a result of a good, but very short, run of results for us, coinciding with crap results for the other teams around us.

Our fundamental problem lies with the calibre and attitude of player we are bringing in. Naturally money would bring in a better calibre of player, however it's still largely, particularly in this division, about the attitude they come into a club with. If players are seeing a move to city as just a 1/2/3 year contract to pay their wages as they've had no better offers, then they're hardly going to give their all for us, which we tend to see in a lot of players at this club. There are obviously one or two gems out there, both experienced and not (Carsley and Jukebox for example) but they tend to be few and far between at our club.

The solution in my opinion lies with the next manager we employ. We need someone with experience, and not just of one division, but someone who's been about, knows how it works with big names and unknowns and how to get the best out of them. This may unfortunately mean paying a premium for said manager, however it'd be worth it in the long run, as long as we don't sack him.

The solution lies with the chairman - we need one who isn't tied by the debt the club is saddled with - who is prepared to invest to attract crowds, to inovate to excite the city, and to gamble to take the club back up. I don't know any millionaire Coventry City fans with less business sense than brains, but if you do, please get them in touch.

Unless another group such as SISU buys us out I don't think the chairman situation will ever get resolved for the better.

As for millionaire city fans, isn't Brian McFadden a cov fan? He has serious lack of judgement, after all, he married Kerry Katona!!

I think he had financial problems as well so could be ideal.
