Simms has been on the pitch every game he’s not been injured this season. And started 66% of games pre Lampard and 50% under Lampard.
People just say things.
Skyblue bipolar disorder, so many incidents. There’s a difference in starts and sub appearances and you know that. After September, Simms didn’t make a single consecutive start until Jan.
It was the same as BTA, who’d everyone had written off until he started a few games and scored goals.
Yea good point. Let’s get rid of all the coaches, fuck it get rid of the players too …Thank god, just another 21 of the blue tracksuit wankers to go.
His face during Lampard’s introduction to the squad said it all.I have a feeling maybe it was a decision that was taken when Lampard came in. He was supporting the transition and he was always leaving at the end of Jan.
The whole thread is about Rhys Carr...Linking threads here, did we discuss Rhys’s car?

Yes, the first 5 games and then another 2 after then. My point was never about total starts, was it?Yes he started more before Lampard.
@Saddlebrains
hope you don’t mind the question. A number of months back you said something along the lines of the camp not been a happy one and a number of players were wanting to jump ship. Do you know if the mood has changed and players are more committed to and dare I say convinced about the project since Frank has started putting his stamp on things ?
Certain players weren't happy, for things such as lack of game time, being played out of position, feeling their team mates weren't putting in the effort needed etc
By all accounts it became quite toxic around the time Robins left (not Robins himself i want to make clear)
Seemingly Lampard and co have been a breath of fresh air, made clear what is required standards wise and that if they put in the effort then so will he
For example you may have noticed Kitching looks a bit leaner and can do 90s minutes easily now. Whereas last season he was hooked a lot. And couldn't get in the side at the start of this season
Lampards worked with him one on one on things and Kitchings reciprocated by staying longer after training doing aerobic work to improve stamina, and low and behold he looks a new player
Robins was an amazing man for this club, but one thing we all know I'd that 1 to 1 man management wasn't his strong point, Lampards approached this his way and it seems to have the desired effect with those who were unhappy

How can the squad get toxic but not around Robins personally?Certain players weren't happy, for things such as lack of game time, being played out of position, feeling their team mates weren't putting in the effort needed etc

If the were frustrations around playing time and positions, then how is that not a reflection on Robins himself? Even if the players didn’t like the coaches, that again is a reflection on Robins.
Robins was a great manager for the club and we owe him a debt as a fanbase. It probably was for the best that we sacked him when we did because Lampard is doing a good job atm.
I do have a feeling that your source is perhaps a bit overprotective of Robins. The info is probably bang on the money, just little tidbits of info that don’t quite make sense.
Was EMC unhappy about being played out of position? I’ve always felt he is amazing on the left, that suits his game and that’s where he was awesome for Peterborough.Certain players weren't happy, for things such as lack of game time, being played out of position, feeling their team mates weren't putting in the effort needed etc

More so felt Doug was unhappy on EMC not playing than anyone else based on his talksport interviewWas EMC unhappy about being played out of position? I’ve always felt he is amazing on the left, that suits his game and that’s where he was awesome for Peterborough.
Is there any word if the players feel the standard of training or tactical insight into matches has been a step upCertain players weren't happy, for things such as lack of game time, being played out of position, feeling their team mates weren't putting in the effort needed etc

Lati almost said as much in todays interviewIs there any word if the players feel the standard of training or tactical insight into matches has been a step up
I saw a game on tele recently, can't remember which one and all the coaches and Lampard were up and down shouting instructions, etc. Carr just sat there almost staring into space. Only a matter of time, I guess.
Portsmouth gameI’m sure somebody on here said he looked like a spare part at one of the early games of Lampard reign and was ridiculed.
Though to be fair you’re a bit defensive about people who you see as a bit defensive about Robins.
The sent from my iPad is a great touch.
Portsmouth game
Hahahaha!
The laugh reaction is for the "Sent from my iPad"
I'm sure he will do well. Him and Williams have been scape goated on here for all the failings and it's quite embarrassing to read.Classy statement, indiciative of the class he showed regarding the Robins situation. Hope he does well elsewhere
Aye, there's a load of berks calling for someone to lose their job because a goalkeeper is shit and too shite to actually make better.I'm sure he will do well. Him and Williams have been scape goated on here for all the failings and it's quite embarrassing to read.
I thought he spoke well when interim and showed passion for the club and the role. Be interesting to see where he goes but some expect him to never be involved in footy again, like those who say Tavares would be lucky to be in national league.
Just classic overreacting nonsense

No one on here let him go mate, it was Lampard.
Don't you agree with him?
