None of those are new factsWe will be back at the Ricoh next season. It's as simple as apple pie because it makes even more sense now than ever before. It will be good for WASP, it will be good for Coventry, it will be good for the council, it will be good for the City of Culture......what's not to like?
When has the city council ever given a pigs burp about Coventry and the people it’s supposed to represent?
...they don't which is why I said it would be good for them.
How will it be good for the council given the lease clauses regarding sub tenants?
It doesn't help that those who get in the door seem to suffer memory loss to ask about the indemnity or forget what the answer was when they get out.
Surley it dosent take that long to thrash out a deal - The many previous meetings Wasps and CCFC have held must give an indication of what party wants what - The stumbling block last time was -Coventry City/Sisu must underwrite – and pay for – any Wasps losses that could potentially flow from Sisu’s complaint to the European Commission concerning Coventry City Council’s 2014 deal to sell the Ricoh Arena to then London Wasps. Has this stumbling block been sorted

Well any deal won’t just line their pockets it will line ours too and it would be the politic thing to do for Ccfc to play in coventry. If wasps aren’t willing to give a little then they deserve all that is coming to themJust thinking out of the box like...The Ricoh is now 15 years old and will need maintaining and updating more and more which will cost either Wasps or the council large sums of money they both dont have especially if we are to have a bad few years of recession. Its a stadium ffs so either Wasps play there or CCFC play there. I doubt another show from out of town will come and take on the lease or rent etc. You would think the council would be keeping its bets open by keeping both CCFC and Wasps happy.
If I was the council I would fook the stadium off pretty sharpish if i could and concentrate on the needy parts of the city. I hope CCFC stay away as long as possible for Wasps to either realise they are onto a loser and move away back to London or they fold. By moving back to the Ricoh w are lining their pockets which will keep them here longer. We need a deal but I cant see Wasps doing us any favours.

They'll never go 'bust'. The RFU will more than adequately ensure the survival of the 'vital 12'.Let's wait until they got bust

They'll still have to have something to show when the shit storm passes. Even before this crisis they'd decided that priorities were A - England national team and B - Rugby Premiership.
Probably a stupid question but anyone know when the next court case is going to be?

Thought sisu had put in a complaint about the council to some court in europe

any ideas when the EU might deem theres an issue? Been over a year already
We still might have to wait for a decision from the eu though? If the eu kick that out we’re more likely to be back at the ricoh?
Why would SISU/CCFC underwrite Wasps losses for an asset that they don’t own? This would make no business sense.
