STILL not up to speed after the flu....thats 10 whole days since I've had a drink.....and that only was a hot toddie as I didn't know then that I had any more than a head cold.

So sadly I'll just have a large cup of tea please daz.......

I was in Dublin a couple of weeks ago and 3 pints of lager and a bottle of Coors cost €19.
It was almost enough to put me off drinking

I have no idea what that would cost in a pub in the UK. Last time I was in a pub in the UK I reckon it would've probably been about £8, that was some time ago though!!

€5 a Guinness is pretty standard in Dublin, unfortunately. Down here 3 pints or lager and a bottle of Coors would probably get you back about £18, so it's even worse!

I reckon I only drink one every couple of months now, don't really miss it any more and am only 33.

Probably about 12-14 in cov depending on where you go

€6,00 a pint of Guinness or €5,00 for 0,4l ( easier on the change ) on my events...

Large Bombay Sapphire with slimline tonic and a slice of lime with plenty of ice.
Only just started drinking gin and makes a change from pints.
But after todays sunshine and a barmy 9 degrees here it will be thatchers cider again soon!!

Got to say that when it's hot and on holiday I love drinking beer to 'rehydrate'. Smashed a 660ml of Peroni in less than 2mins in Sicily the other year, the gf wasn't too impressed haha.
