Robins Favourites? (1 Viewer)

Does Robins have any "go to" men like Slade had Clarke and Foley?

I know it is too late now really to do much but maybe for the pre season.

I can only think of him taking Jordan Clarke with him, Joe Murphy played for him here and Hudds.

Doesn't have to be CCFC, did he take any from Hudds to Scunthorpe also?

To be honest, I don't expect to recognise any names when we do sign players. L2 football is something I last took an interest in during the mid-80s, and that was thanks to Steve Bull's ridiculous scoring records (I know, I know - but he was crazily good at putting one in the onion bag). Other than the ex-CCFC players at Pompey, I don't think I could name more than a couple. And sadly, that's the market Robins will be shopping in. Once upon a time our club browsed in Harrods, now we're shoplifting from Poundland.

Going to be very interesting what his player budget will be, if it is less than this season he will struggle anyone would, remember he is likely to need 10 or more new faces. Apparently according to Fisher we have made a profit this year, extra money from Wembley etc. and probably couple of players to move on for fees. IF owners are serious to aim at promotion the budget should be doubled.
