I wouldn’t bet against the loser of the match at the CBS losing his job.Edwards was manager for mere months before they went up
There is a problem though- it's not the last 9 games it's the last 20 . What's a good measure of time 20 , 30 , 40 games ?With respect to a few posters on here, there’s just too much emotional knee jerking here. You seen after the Blackburn win people serious said we have one of the best CM partnerships in the league. This was after one convincing win.
You had the same in 2019/20 when we won the league. Had some torrid form in Oct-Dec and the same things being said then are being said now. Same as last season after we lost 3 in a row.
We’re 9 games in, there’s plenty of time to sort things out. It will take one good run of form and Robins will be the messiah again.
Not ungrateful at all about Robins achievements but unfortunately things don’t last foreverShort memories and ungrateful bastards
We don't have a better team looking at them todayBecause we have a better squad, a better chance of promotion and he'd get a better wage.
Yup. Sometimes it is very small marginsRobins was also let down by 2 or 3 players today , you can set teams up however which way you want but you can't factor in the mistakes that lead to the goals today .. sheaf that's 2 games since his return where he's given the ball away in shit areas to lose us the game
You do realise you are calling people out for knee-jerk reactions, whilst alluding to something I said in response to people calling out Eccles, yet you have no idea what my feelings were before the Blackburn game. With respect to a few posters on here, there’s just too much emotional knee jerking here. Surprised he hasn't got Joel to fill in those positions.Robins isn’t the issue. It’s King. I’m certain, if left to Robins, we’d have signed a midfielder in the summer. We didn’t. We have no cover at right back, we have a lopsided squad.
We don't have a better team looking at them today
Or maybe the players we have bought are not as good as we thinkOn today's evidence no, but clearly we have a much better squad of players.
Not as good as some think, but not as bad as they’re showingOr maybe the players we have bought are not as good as we think
Isn't it more a case that we haven't upgraded the team in the right areas ?Not as good as some think, but not as bad as they’re showing
Please. Rudoni is a footballer. Palmer was not.Yup. That's the way it seems to me.
Rudoni is a fabulous player on his day. But how often is it his day? He seems to be another Kasey Palmer at the moment. Lacks consistency.
The bottom line is we haven’t improved the defence or the midfield. We are much weaker in both areas than we were in the playoff seasonIsn't it more a case that we haven't upgraded the team in the right areas ?
We should be doing better than we are is my point. The team is top heavy but we’re seeing a team that can’t do the basics.Isn't it more a case that we haven't upgraded the team in the right areas ?
I don't know how any incoming manager could get a tune out of our central defence.I reluctantly agree that his time has come, still plenty of the season to play and we can still reach the play offs if someone can get the team playing as they should. Shame if it does end like this and must go down as a legend, but we need to think of the here and now.
I'd have Edwards hereHasn’t turned as much as Luton yet
Obvious element of truth in this but if you're being brutally honest what have you derived from the tactics employed this season and the quality of the performances?Isn't it more a case that we haven't upgraded the team in the right areas ?

Problem is he’s been sucked into the same possession based shite that doesn’t suit the players he’s got.I'd have Edwards here
Sure , but he's lost 17 of Luton last 24 games in the leagueI'd have Edwards here
Robins himself knows that it's your last result that mattersShort memories and ungrateful bastards
This is true but we surely aren’t as bad as mere relegation contenders. If we are then basically everyone needs sacking!I just think that it's more to do with the fact that certain players just aren't as good as we'd all hoped and we didn't get the right players in the right areas .
We simply aren't as good as we all thought

It’s actually embarrassingThe mistakes we are making on the pitch are hilariously bad
“The rot”. Brilliant. We won four days ago. Get real
So you're saying that the problem is recruitment ( I do agree with this tbh) but there are many other issues too with team tactics and in game set up.I just think that it's more to do with the fact that certain players just aren't as good as we'd all hoped and we didn't get the right players in the right areas .

End of the day it’s a results business. What happened previously is ultimately irrelevantRobins himself knows that it's your last result that matters
I agree. Which tells me it’s not just the players. The mistakes we are making on the pitch are hilariously bad
Working hard on how to give our own 6 yard box a higher population density than MonacoI’m sure in an interview before the game Bidwell said that Dempster works hard all week on the set pieces I really don’t see it they lack imagination and the throw ins fuck me we would be better off the opposition having them instead.
Context required. Majority of those in the PL where money spent on ground improvements seriously hampered any transfer activity. I would be looking seriously to appoint him if Robins leftSure , but he's lost 17 of Luton last 24 games in the league
Wow. That is a contradiction !End of the day it’s a results business. What happened previously is ultimately irrelevant
Seriously don't know how this will end up. Worrying times whatever happensOut of curiosity, given that we have not replaced the key players that have left well , whether that be the talented ones or the leaders... and we've not replaced the coaches that have left well, why do people beleive we would replace the most successful manager we've had in decades well?
I'm not being critical of anyone who wants Robins out, I am genuinely curious as i personally have no faith in us getting someone better in.
