Yes, I think it would be naive to think that he wouldn’t have serious concerns. It’s hardly ‘out there’ for a team that’s supposed to be serious promotion contenders. You didn’t but you’d would expect Doug to sack him… after 10 games (of better than average form btw)
The performances on the pitch have been poor.Oh - and we're 8th by the way - 1 point outside the playoffs having been woeful apparently.
We’ve played three games mate… and we won one of them ffsAny team in this division that spends 40 million quid in 2 years shouldn't be struggling. Simple fact.

If we’re 8th after 10 games and Robins got sacked then to me it would be madness. If that makes me naive then I’m cool with that.I think you are very naive to think king has any loyalty to Robins - he trusts him to do a job and has provided him with resources and a squad with depth. I know for a fact after the Rotherham defeat last season there was a heated discussion then and a warning to “sort it”

Ok cool. I was arguing with someone that said if we were still 8th after 10-15 games “he’ll be gone”. I don’t think he will and sounds like you agree with me tooIf we are 8th clearly not but we have played 3 teams who will not be in the mix - so after 10 - 15 games will be the time when there is an analysis of performance. The point is though king wants success and couldn’t care less what’s gone before.
Sorry thought that read friar for a minute!Under Bobby Gould, we used to get off to the flier. Then stall.
10 games in will give us a better insight
Again, can you point out where I said he’d be sacked if we were 8th? Thanks.Ok cool. I was arguing with someone that said if we were still 8th after 10-15 games “he’ll be gone”. I don’t think he will and sounds like you agree with me too
Just below here bud. I assume “it” means the performances / form that have put us into 8th place. I’d love to know how this could mean anything else??Again, can you point out where I said he’d be sacked if we were 8th? Thanks.
If it continues for 10-15 games into the season he’ll be gone.
It was a reference to Robin Hood and it wasn’t fuelled by alcohol.I think it was a Robin Hood reference fueled by alcohol.
I love Robins to bits and would never want him to be sacked but I do wonder if we have evolved passed his tactical know how.
there are so many young managers coming into the game now and feel like we’re not evolving tactically under him.
it’s the same old
I know some won’t like this and I find it hard to type it but it’s just a gut feeling
I hope I’m wrong and I’m still confident as I’ve backed us to be promoted but why do we start so slow?
We have become a very entitled fan base over the past couple of seasonsMadness to come out with this just 4 games into the season. Our record for this season is 2 wins, a draw and a loss in 4 games.
It’s not even like we’ve got to a stinker like Luton who’ve picked up just 1 point.
The expectations have majorly changed since a few years ago though, not just from the fans.We have become a very entitled fan base over the past couple of seasons
Precisely. We have no-one else who can play that role.Lots mentioning Sheaf and how we’re playing poorly due to him being out injured but ultimately, the team should be more than one man.
We shouldn’t be completely reliant on one player to get results. They all need to be pulling their own weight regardless of who’s out injured.
I accept that fully but we haven't morphed into prime Barca or Man City in that time . We should be competing for promotion, whether automatically or playoffs , and I think we will be .The expectations have majorly changed since a few years ago though, not just from the fans.
He appeared ok in his post match interview and as per usual gave an honest opinion of the game.It was muted by the commentators and some fans that Robins looked a bit jaded today, sat down a lot, appeared tired and a bit spentMight just be that he was not feeling .
Some have suggested there have been a lot of managerial and coaching changes around him that may have been out of his hands
It can’t be an easy job and we have an ambitious chairman now who wants results rather than some disinterested scumbags who just about kept us on life support, whilst they explored their legal options.
Hopefully everything is tickety boo still and a couple of home wins now will settle some of the nerves
Thought he looked tired on Fridays video offering, like he'd had a few or a late night! He appeared ok in his post match interview and as per usual gave an honest opinion of the game.

Just an observation that's all mate, not at all sympathetic?!Who the fuck cares if he looks tired ffs? What desperate sad posts

we're fucking 9th mateAny team in this division that spends 40 million quid in 2 years shouldn't be struggling. Simple fact.

It’s not just 2 games though…the back end of last season was shit too and we’ve spent more money and don’t look any more dangerous
the FA cup run just covered the cracks over last season
We were unimpressive from January onwards in truthYou can’t start stitching seasons together. After the Utd game we were on the beach.

I just see the manager paying way too much respect to opponents. Hopefully it’s just the players needing to be more confident playing how he wants as opposed to them carrying out his instructions.I think we faltered when Saka got injured and our right side got messed up. But we collapsed when the Utd game came into view.
It’s a big season no doubt, but four games in having won two drawn one isn’t the time to start putting scare stories about us being terrible for months together. It’s a new coaching staff, we’ve seen the vision is a good one, it’s just a matter of getting the players consistently enacting it.
