Seems that way. He should have been out on loan to a League 2 side to see if he can bridge the gap
Waghorne couldn't trap cement last night. Everything that came to him bounced a couple yards ahead.
Lets not even start with the potshots from nowhere.
Dreadful signing in hindsight - looks like he wants out but whose going to take him
Robins interview reminds me of a Mowbray one when he said we were never going to be in the top six in the league 1 season
I think the goodwill towards the owners from some sections may be on the slide. No backing in January, increased ST prices, Gyokeres and/or Hamer likely to depart
they can only bask in 2 promotions for so long
I am not one for shooting from range for no reason, and I am not necessarily defending it, but was probably our only chance of scoring last night. I found myself shrugging and going 'well, at least someone has had a go'. Which in itself is fairly depressing, but genuinely how I felt.Waghorne couldn't trap cement last night. Everything that came to him bounced a couple yards ahead.

Don't think you could play Tavares instead of Gyok. It'd have to be alongside him.Tavares was probably a bad example, we let Walker go, goes hand in hand with the investment point. Ultimately we seem to be running Gyokeres into the ground, and all we have left is Tavares. Last 10 - literally no reason not to give it a go. Is he likely to do something to jump ahead of Gyokeres - no. But it gives Gyokeres a slither more of recovery time
We had played less than most teams the tired shit is bollocks players should be the fittest they've been all season.
Tired thing doesn't wash for me. At xmas when everyone had 4 games in a week and we had none cuz if covid, we effectively had a winter break that no one else did.
Kenny JacketGo on then, who would you want to replace him?
So why does he have games where he doesn't use all his subs and often uses them far too late.Robins himself said the energy levels weren’t there tbf
Considering he was a league 2 manager 4 years ago, I doubt very much he'd currently be looking to leave a decent top half championship side.I do wonder if Robins may look to end his sky blue blood transfusion for a second time
Im sure you would wish so.I do wonder if Robins may look to end his sky blue blood transfusion for a second time

His interviews say he recognises the players are tired, but then when he actually has a chance to mitigate that during games with subs he doesn't do it. It's like me complaining my nose is sore then punching myself in the face.
Without Derby's points deduction we'd still be 22 points clear of the bottom 3, double the points of 3rd bottom. You do post utter bollocks sometimes. We’ve I think managed 22 points in tbe last 19 games - the flying start and Derby point reductions have masked what we have - a relegation team
I just missed out on the Jimmy Hill period. I bought every book written on it, to get some enjoyment from that great period.
The thing that amazed me was reading about the stick he got from some fans despite going from the third division to the first.
When Robins took over we were on our way to the fourth division. With little financial support and the odd inconvenience, like playing at St Andrews, he's taken us up two divisions.
Last year, I was doubtful if we'd be able to stay up given our budget. I was very pleasantly surprised by how we did.
This year I was hoping for a year where I didn't have to spend the whole time computing our likely points against the bottom three. Again pleasantly surprised.
Every year with Robins, we've been better than the year before.
It doesn't make him immune from having this or that selection decision questioned or criticised, but for people to say they'd be happy to see him gone - sheesh...
Might it be because he doesn't have as much faith in some of the subs on the bench? So why does he have games where he doesn't use all his subs and often uses them far too late.

Laughable. Just over 4 years ago we lost 2-1 at Forest Green Rovers. Now you want him sacked after we lose 2-0 at Cardiff and we're mid table in the Championship. I guess you'll be telling me that SISU have given Robins backing next...Same old shit from Robins I’m afraid. I genuinely wouldn’t be arsed if he fucked off at the end of the season.
Best thing to do every time Sheaf is God says something, is to post up this.Laughable. Just over 4 years ago we lost 2-1 at Forest Green Rovers. We don't play a high intensity game any more. We dropped that tactic a while ago and now are a possession side with no cutting edge.
Edited for youKennys... Jacket

Critchley from Blackpool, 100%
the problem will be any new manager would want certain assurances which I doubt will be given - no sale of Gyokeres ti start with
I can't accept the "they're tired" excuse. We had a mini winter break over Xmas where we didn't play for 2 and a half weeks. Most teams didn't get that.
And everyone knows the season is long so bring in new players or have some cover for first teamers if they are struggling.

We had a number of covid issues over this period- it just wasn't as publicised as other clubs.I can't accept the "they're tired" excuse. We had a mini winter break over Xmas where we didn't play for 2 and a half weeks. Most teams didn't get that.

At times, we had 10/11 training.
Illness takes its toll - then being thrust back into a hectic schedule.
Regardless of that, playing tues/sat/tues/sat would affect any side at any part of the season.
Cardiff rested/rotated players last night too - for the same reasons. They were at home, had some luck, took a couple of chances - none of which we did/had.
We are/we're a better side than them - we had opportunities.
Bringing in players is not as easy as just that!!!.... You can't account for the spate of injuries that we have had - if all fit, so much less of an issue!!
Out of interest, who would you have brought in, that was available, within budget and would not have unsettled the squad - genuine question without any malice intended here.I mean the games have shown for ages we sorely need more quality in attacking midfield. It’s been the difference pretty much every time
