Are we just ignoring the fact we have appointed Thorn as manager then?

As it is, the Daily Mirror have claimed that if Ranson were to take over, he'd want Robins in. Considering this is The Mirror and it relies on a takeover that shows no sign of happening at all, I wouldn't read much into it from our side of things.

If Ranson did take over and appointed Robins as manager, I could see people asking for refunds on their season tickets..

ranson would be a fool to remove thorn now,fan backlash would be much worse than eric black stuff ever was, also robins doesnt play better footy than thorn and thats whats bringing in ST holders and higher attendences.

i think the rumour about if ranson takes over he will make robins manager has probally come from sisu to encourage us fans to block his takeover bid (doubt if there is a bid)
ransons not that stupid lets not forget he made thorn caretaker boss in the first place!

Talk about rocking the boat. Surely the rumour has no foundation bearing in mind the optimism surrounding CCFC at hte moment with AT as our number one.

This talk should be totally ignored at best but even more so should be refuted by those in the know as early as possible before it has a destabilising effect on current and future club strategy.

We don't want the "Peter Reid" scenario here at CCFC again - we know what happened then don't we.

Apparently Robins has been given 12 months' notice, so he's actually going nowhere until the end of next season as it stands now.

If true, that's the longest notice period I've ever seen.

Seems he was on a one year rolling contract....just like AT is on
