For clarity, I was not one of those calling for MR to go, however...
After one win by the finest of margins during which there was still some poor defending, I think it's a bit early to be calling out those who did.
So in that case why did you say he’d ‘thrown the towel in’ during the second half
I saw Rudoni at left wing back
Scroll back through, you'll see loads of others also questioning it
You know, and I can't tell you why exactly, but I have pretty always just waited until a game has kicked off before I have cast any judgement on team selection.I saw Rudoni at left wing back

Some of it was baffling tbh (ie the constant chopping & changing of forwards and defenders ) but maybe this was because he was searching for the right formula himself. He's been handicapped by the shortfalls in recruitment that's obvious and some of it tended to give the impression that he was somewhat lurching from one thing to the next. Hopefully he's hit upon the best starting 11 available , sticks with it and uses the rest of the squad as impact subs as and when needed and not the apparent predetermined nonsense we witnessed previously. Strangely enough I do believe that we are a quality midfielder and defender away from having a serious play off challenge . We will see .I think it just shows Robins hasn't lost the plot.
It's fine if fans want a new manager because the results are poor (say losing 6 or 7 games in a row), but I don't find it fine at all to make out that Robins is clueless and an inept manager who has suddenly become a bad manager overnight.
Robins has been getting accused of all sorts of stuff lately. Naive with tactics, picking the wrong players, the wrong formations, the wrong subs etc.
He has proved his credentials to us time and time again over the years and deserves the chance to put things right if and whenever they go wrong.
He got it wrong about Rudoni Lwb that’s all? So did several posters. You don’t need to attack him
Your view is completely fair enough and I respect it. Personally I always do my best to back up my opinions and I generally find when old threads are dragged up my opinions hold up better than many on here. My football opinions anywayI don’t see anyone being called out for having an opinion which is backed up, it was the stupid & immature wailing from some. Robins’ job was/ is on the line, that’s clear and nobody disputes that (including Robins himself)- but the type of garbage being posted was stupid. That’s what was being called out.

However I do think there are some on here on your side of the fence right now that are very much, don't you dare criticise Robins, it can't possibly be him so it has to be x,y or z, usually pretty dramatic nonsense.
Robins should be open to criticism as you say. I'd like to think the only thing I'll be wrong on is that I didn't see Robins himself turning it around this time. I just didn't see where it was coming from. I sincerely hope this is the start of something and I was/am wrong. I suspect most of the other stuff I've said will hold up fairly well.
Agree on that last bit. Some of it was baffling tbh (ie the constant chopping & changing of forwards and defenders ) but maybe this was because he was searching for the right formula himself. I just see a team sheet and think the manager must know what's he's doing, especially with Robins.
Some just see the team sheet and then say we are definitely going to lose.
I always think "give it a chance" and "let's see how it pans out."
Yeah, I didn't mind it all and just thought Robins was trying to match Luton in terms of physicality. It's crazy how often people have chucked the towel in after seeing a leftfield line up only for us to win.
You'd think they'd learn.
Got to admit I was scratching my head when I saw the starting XI yesterday but you've just got to give it a chance as you say.
So with the bollocks polls on here lately it's time for the bedwetter wet wipe roll call......you know who you are.....
Still probably be able to come up with some shit able not putting the effort in, etc
Hmm, good luck with that one.The fact we played so well yesterday supports what people have been saying. The players are capable, and haven’t been trying
The players are capable, and haven’t been trying
rubbish
So they suddenly gained all that ability just yesterday?
So they suddenly gained all that ability just yesterday?
that’s a stupid question and it was a stupid comment.
Utter drivel , frankly that's a pathetic comment .The fact we played so well yesterday supports what people have been saying. The players are capable, and haven’t been trying

It’s unreasonable to suggest it’s a conscious effortIf a team is capable of playing well and they aren’t playing well, then I don’t think it’s unreasonable to point this out
I think it was low confidence as much as anything else.Do you think performances and effort levels have been acceptable prior to yesterday?
Get the higher tog rating, don't want to be stuck under the summer rating!Yes please, if you have a spare one. The dog has taken a large slash on mine, as usual.
Too busy sucking overson off?Because i didn't see the second half
You’re the last one to be using the word “swallow” on hereOk il bite
However well we did to turn that around, and seemingly in general a much better performance...
1 swallow doesn't make a summer
We did this v Oxford and Blackburn and never showed up for games after
A run of 3 wins or 4 or 5 unbeaten is a corner turned, not a last minute win v 10 men
Much better 100% but we aren't suddenly Barca
Too busy sucking overson off?
Disappointment?Mad considering you actually know what Jordan Shipleys ejaculate tastes like
Ah diddums, did I touch a nerve? If i had it wouldnt ever stopped me watching the game or slagging the club and management or players off though. Nor have I share any negative agenda just because I thought someone might chuck their loose change my way, despite having had lots of family connections with the club for a couple of generations. But you keep going and doubling down on your position, I'm sure there's someone out there who masturbates over you giving out team info a bit early.Mad considering you actually know what Jordan Shipleys ejaculate tastes like
Disappointment?
Helpful intervention from David calling them bellends requiredThe last few posts are just what I need in the morning. It’s put me off putting milk on my cornflakes.
