Agreed. Though if done properly the three behind one can work and I'd back TM to be able to pull it off ahead of most of our recent managers.

I'd like to see 442, but at the moment we're short on width really. Otherwise I'd go Thomas up front with Tudgay until we can get another two strikers in. As it is I think some variation of three in the middle is the best fit for the squad.

Are we sure he is from Portugal??? Not a hint of an accent. Was expecting him to sound a bit exotic.

What we lacked last season especially since Moussa departed was creativity, and IMO it's vital in this league to have 1 or 2 flair players. Lameiras + Maddison combined could be the difference this season. Great signing.

I saw that and his weird Cockney/Portuguese mix made me laugh. At least there won't be any communication problems.

Just watched this and was going to post exactly the same! Sounds like hes from Essex rather than Portugal. Think his signing will take some of the pressure off Maddison this season as I think (from the small glimpses Ive seen) Lameiras best position will be central.
