I believe there was talk a lot by the present owner before he bought Wasps, but who really knows.
It fits in with the forums theme though that it's the councils fault.
Wasps or Richardson before he bought Wasps ?No, they had discussed it with the Council before.

My theme is to get rid of Sisu at all costs.Factual though isn't it? So probably doesn't fit in with your theme.
but way after the rent strike
If new owners were going to buy the club and the Ricoh why not just buy the club and build a new stadium for the same price?
On the same thing , why don't Sisu do that ?
Knowing sisu they would probably pile the debt on the stadium straight away , more than likely using some kind of bond scheme.Just have to wait and see. Hopefully, new owners coming in can buy a % off Wasps or if Wasps go bust, they can buy the Ricoh for CCFC.
Who knows what SISU would do with the Ricoh if they owned it.
We are back at the stadium that was built for us ?
Wasps bought ACL, CCC own the stadium.I thought Wasps bought the Ricoh for less than £10mill?
A new stadium for CCFC would cost £15mill+ surely?

Hope you support the offer on Tuesday regardless !!
They were offered a stadium in London but refused.
Hugh Godwin: Wasps didn't have to send themselves to Coventry
Doesn't fit in with your skewed view though does it?

£20M with the loan. You know what I'm getting at.
How much did Wasps pay for ACL then?
What offer on Tuesday?
don't bother asking, I don't think there's a tap of the nose I'm in the know emoji.
Yes a 15,000 stadium they rented.
Anyway it wouldn't be big enough
£5.5m plus £1m to extend the lease by over 200 years. The loan is irrelevant. You know what I'm getting at.

Could be solved by Wednesday ?I want rid of sisu, but I don't for one moment envisage that that will be the end of the clubs problems with the council.

I want CCFC to do it because its the only sensible way forward.Of course it would have been big enough. And why shouldn't they rent? Rwnting is great it seema. You want the football club you apparently to support to do it? So why not Wasps?
I want CCFC to do it because its the only sensible way forward.
Can't believe the naivety of people thinking we can own our own stadium at the moment.

Aren't Wasps in the same position as CCFC? Neither can afford to buy a stadium, the only difference is Wasps had people invest, get loans etc and get the Ricoh.
