Care to address other aspects of his post?
Although I pretty much agree with the sentiment, it was a little harsh in tone!!
No need to defend me I'm doing okay thanks. He brings it on himself. As soon as they arrived he was on the fans forum of theirs telling people to park on his land.
Anybody that clicks through the turnstiles of a wasps game should be ashamed of themselves.
I wish that one day CRFC rise along with ourselfs and drive wasps out of business.
Who do they represent? Sports about representing something? Wasps don't represent anything? How the f***can anyone get passionate about wasps?
I don't get it I really don't just like I don't get fine ART.
Why should we be ashamed of ourselves, particularly if we live in Warwickshire?
CRFC have had increased interest since Wasps have been here.
Coventry is becoming the city of rugby as well with both Wasps and CRFC helping the cause.
Harsh ??? I apologise sorry he showed no interest in egg chasing what so ever until the stadium robbers rocked up on his doorstep now he is the worlds authority on what they are going to do because he pockets a few quid. To answer his reply id rather go to the butts than watch plastics at the ricoh .
No interest, Did you miss the bit about Cov Welsh Ladies ?
Or are you a hypocrite and it has to be CRFC or nothing (Quote: Supported who ???)
Whats not to moan about Sixfields ?Mmm...hypocrisy...moan about Sixfields...embrace Wasps...
Do you know how close Wasps were only a few years ago to finishing ?
A fact used by their existing fans as a reason for moving here.
Would you say it has made good business sense for them?
Affinity to Coventry and Warwickshire takes years.
But it's happening and we need to work along with it.
Whats not to moan about Sixfields ?
I'll leave the Ricoh moaning to travelling Wasps fans.
Oh hang on, they seem to have got over it.
Mmm...hypocrisy...moan aboutCCC/Wasps/Higgs/ACL ...embrace..Sixfields...
Hope you support the offer on Tuesday regardless !!
Could be solved by Wednesday ?

Why am i a hypocrite i watched the local rugby team you on the other hand watched Cov welsh ladies (did they pay you for parking) then went from watching them
to being the cheerleader for a franchise rugby team without getting off your arse and watching the local team well maybe not to you but i live in Bedworth doesnt cut any ice as if you supported city home and away for 50 years a quick bus hop to Coundon road/ Bpa wouldnt have been to difficult if you wanted to take in a league (and being the same age as me by your 50 year comment ) top flight rugby match. Admit it you had no interest in top flight rugby until the opportunity arrived for you to earn from it
This is where your info is correct but the timing is wrong. (A fault of yours as explained earlier).Or just never go at all. As old Nicky says 92% of wasps fans are CV post code dwellers. So at 15,000 average that means 1,300 aren't and some of them will be from Birmingham postcodes.

The info relates to the first 30K plus game where the majority were from CV postcodes.
I have not seen the latest stats but obviously neither have you.

Wasps arrival in Coventry was supposed to have no adverse effect on the two existing clubs. I cannot see how Wasps being here has any positive effect on the football club. Their arrival has, on the face of it, taken away any chance of us owning the stadium that was built for us. With regard to Cov, they are a club that has a much richer heritage than Wasps and yet now have to play second fiddle to a a club parachuted in from 90 miles away. Can our City successfully support two senior rugby teams? If one has to go which one will it be?
Finally I am sure that there are lots of dedicated Wasps fans living in London who have simply lost their club, a club that would be every bit as much a part of their lives as CCFC are to us. If City up sticks and moved to London, how many of our fan base would still go and support them? How many 5 years after the move? Not many I would think.
Franchising sports teams is wrong. Wasps have no affinity with this area. They should not be here but back home in London.
any chance we had of owning the Ricoh went with the rent strike

Never thought about it until I went. Is the money relative to the argument or just annoying to you ?But never though about trying it before you could make money out of it
Agreed this opened the door for Wasps but until they arrived it was ours for the taking.
Certainly not excusing Sisu's part in this because without Sisu and their Northampton shenanigans there would be no Wasps.any chance we had of owning the Ricoh went with the rent strike
City always had the option to buy half but Sisu didn't take up the option.Nope they never wanted to sell until it started to look as if it was a basket case - and when a certain person left. Then Derek Richardson showed interest - made overtures about re-generation and that was it.
Talk to some ex directors pre-sisu and get their take on it.

You're a complete idiot, by that logic Sixfields was fine because some fans were OK with it.Whats not to moan about Sixfields ?

Exactly this.
Operation premiership took priority and the purchase was put on the back burner.
The first didn't happen so the second couldn't then happen.
