You're a complete idiot, by that logic Sixfields was fine because some fans were OK with it.

Don't know the figures on the agreed Higgs formula or what it takes to buy access to the F&B revenues, but I do know you have to buy them.Bollocks. The council had veto and pre sisu the club were never allowed to purchase unless they paid around £10 million for the Higgs share and £24 million for F and B right and.
Stop lying.

It was for them ?You're a complete idiot, by that logic Sixfields was fine because some fans were OK with it.

Oh yes and the half was at a formulae pribe of £10 million and on a less than 50 year lease.
The director set up meant they'd have no influence at all on strategy.
So the rental would still be £1.3 million a year and no distribution of dividends.
Oh and the veto was still an option.
Would you have done that?
About £20M ?How much did wasps pay for them? And how long was the lease?
The fact is that Wasps negotiated their terms, did Sisu even try? Sisu also helped in the Wasps deal by distressing ACL.
About £20M ?
Sisu could have worked towards a deal but the Northampton move put paid to that.
Wasps was a get out of jail for CCC and Higgs.
They paid £5.4 million for a 200 year lease extension.
Stop lying.
So you are saying that we had to pay extra as our very presence escalated the value?
So you basically agree that the club should move if they can distress an out of town business.
Awesome
And I repeat pre sisu we we would have had to pay £34 million for half share and F and B rights.
Was they a reasonable deal - yes or no?

You lot really know how to enjoy a bank holiday don't you?!?!?!
They could have negotiated that down like Wasps did.
Yes they might have paid the going rate of an occupied stadium at the time and it would be cheaper than a new stadium.
But they are Sisu and that was never the plan so why should they?
They got caught with their trousers round there ankles and you and others are trying to hold them up for them.
They paid £5.4M for ACL and £1M for the lease extension to be exact.
They also paid off the £14M loan which effectively can be transposed as kitting out of the stadium facilities.
I don't agree with the club moving at all. It is simply ironic that Sisu's underhand tactics worked to Wasps advantage by leaving ACL in a weakened position. A move that has proved catastrophic for CCFC. Why would any City fan be pleased about that? it is also amazing what you can achieve when you talk to people, explain your difficulties and negotiate a fair settlement. Again, something that I don't believe Sisu ever tried to do with regards to buying the half share.
would italia have first refusal on the car parking? What if a company now offered ccfc a decent deal on their own stadium in Coventry but they rejected it to move to an empty one 80 miles away?

Note, their own..
So what would you say if ccfc said they had no choice? You've added decent.
You've added decent.
Ask for the evidence ?So what would you say if ccfc said they had no choice?
Surely you would just ask people in the car park who were going to matches there to judge?Ask for the evidence ?
Certainly not go along with it 'for the team' ??
Believe me when I say wasps are in the shit. Short term they will survive but long term no way.Problem was Wasps were already in the shit financially they needed some thing to keep going I believe they thought the Ricoh would bring them that.
From what I've heard it hasn't worked and now they are even more in the shit.
Maybe this is what Joy has been waiting for.
If rumours are to be believed the 2 parties are speaking about an extension at the Ricoh.
Just goes to show that no hedgefund should be involved with sport of any kind they haven't got a clue.
Something you know nothing about. You'd be prepared to flush 130 years down the toilet for a few quid
Next time you go to see your insects have a look at that bearded blokes statue and think would he be proud of you?
no it didn't, any chance we had of owning the Ricoh went when the council sold the lease to wasps.
Not excusing sisus behaviour, but selling the lease to wasps didn't just end the chances of our current owners owning the stadium, it pretty much ended the chances of future owners purchasing it for the club.

You'll be sticking with Sisu on Tuesday then ?Oddly enough I've heard the same and that wasps are now actively trying to get a new deal signed by the club. Terms, however, are punitive. In the end wasps will concede as their future will be hugely dependant on what happens to the football club - they know it, the club know it and wasps are finding their investment dream is not as rosy as they thought.
I'm not sure what you mean by pre Sisu. All I am saying is that Sisu had the chance to nnegotiate a deal that was in the best interests of themselves and of CCFC. They chose not to do this.Pre sisu? Why are you ignoring that?
I know this is going around in the same old circles , but one last time, if Sisu hadn't taken the club to Northampton ( and remembering that this was for their own ends, not for the good of CCFC), Wasps would not be here. And as I've said before that single decision will damage CCFC more than SISU ever could.
Everyone knows things only happen on a Thursday.Spit it out about Tuesday then...
